There is a strong case to be made that the Democrat Party is quite literally aligning itself with terrorism. In fact, the Democrats hardly bother even to pretend their sympathies lie otherwise.
Political violence has been a tool in the Democrat toolbox for nearly as long as they have existed as a party, but terrorism is, in a sense, a level above that. It implies aggressive and spectacular violence specifically to attain evil political and social ends. We know Democrats encourage and defend violence. How do they also encourage, fund, promote, and defend terrorism?
One obvious connection is the Democrat obsession with supporting and funding terrorist groups and governments like the Taliban, Hamas, and the Palestinian Authority. That has become particularly obvious ever since Hamas committed the October 7 atrocities, and thousands, if not millions, of Democrats have expressed empathy with the terrorists rather than the Israeli victims. Leftist activists have been marching on college campuses, in streets, and at federal buildings, screaming their support for “martyrs” (i.e., terrorists), “intifada” (i.e., genocidal jihad), and more. They use genocidal slogans like “from the river to the sea.” They physically assault Jews.

The deadly New Hampshire country club shooter reportedly yelled “free Palestine” as he murdered Robert Steven DeCesare. The man who murdered two Israeli embassy staffers in D.C. shouted the same thing. Last week, an Afghan let in by the Biden administration ambushed two National Guardsmen, killing Sarah Beckstrom. Democrats were much more hysterical about Trump pausing immigration from Afghanistan afterwards than they were about the deadly ambush. Democrat politicians who provided verbal or financial support to Palestinian and Afghan jihadis include Ilhan Omar, Rashida Tlaib, Joe Biden, Kamala Harris, Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, Hakeem Jeffries, Antony Blinken, and Bernie Sanders.

But the Democrat connection to and empathy with terrorism certainly does not end there. If there is one thing we have seen clearly all this year, it is a surge in leftist domestic terrorism right here in the United States. Even the Center for Strategic and International Studies reluctantly admitted the rise in leftist violence. From the BLM/Antifa summer of love and mostly peaceful protests to the 1,153% surge in attacks on ICE officers this year, from the assassination attempts on Donald Trump to the assassination of Charlie Kirk, leftist violence is out of control.
The latest terrorist attack was a serial criminal who hurled Molotov cocktails into a federal building in Los Angeles on Tuesday while screaming his desire to do violence to ICE officers. Meanwhile, California and House Democrats created an “ICE tracker” — a master tracker — and New York Attorney General Letitia James launched a similar tool.
Democrat politicians who themselves have tried actively and illegally to interfere with ICE operations include California Gov. Gavin Newsom, Los Angeles Mayor Karen Bass, Illinois Gov. JB Pritzker, Chicago Mayor Brandon Johnson, Charlotte Mayor Vi Lyles, Boston Mayor Michelle Wu, and New York Gov. Kathy Hochul.

Antifa is a terrorist organization, and it is no mistake that so many Democrats are part of or defenders of it. Additionally, an unknown number of Islamic terrorists entered the country thanks to Biden's open border policies, but that didn’t bother the Democrats.

The election of pro-jihad socialist Zohran Mamdani and violence fantasizer Jay Jones this November is a wake-up call. Democrats are in deadly earnest, and we must recognize as much.
