99 Reasons for Deportation: Vehicle Attacks on ICE Up as Trump Admin Scrutinizes Licenses

Federal immigration officers have experienced 99 vehicle attacks since Donald Trump took office. This new statistic comes as one type of driver's license issued illicitly to tens of thousands of illegals is under scrutiny from the Trump administration.

There are countless reasons to support mass deportations, including the number of illegal aliens taking jobs from Americans, the huge problem of illegal alien crime, the financial burden on the American taxpayer, and, most fundamentally, the importance of upholding our laws to preserve our sovereignty. Another reason is the number of violent attacks from illegal aliens and their leftist activist supporters trying to keep the foreign thugs in our country.

Since January 20, the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) announced in a Nov. 18 press release, there have been 99 vehicular attacks on federal law enforcement, more than double the number for that same period last year.

DHS blames leftist rhetoric for fueling the violence. “We are seeing the results of the Left’s constant demonization of the men and women of law enforcement. Dangerous criminals – whether they be illegal aliens or U.S. citizens – are turning their vehicles into weapons to attack ICE and CBP,” Assistant Secretary Tricia McLaughlin stated. “Still, the brave men and women of DHS will not be deterred and will continue arresting the worst of the worst criminal illegal aliens. Anyone who attacks law enforcement, especially using their vehicles, will be prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law.”

Recent attacks include a violent rioter at the end of October in Evanston, Ill., who rammed his car into a Border Patrol vehicle and subsequently assaulted an officer. Before that, in Los Angeles, an illegal alien attempted to escape arrest by ramming into federal vehicles with his car, eventually triggering a shootout in which a U.S. Marshal was injured. Overall, attacks against Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) officers are up 1000%, and death threats to them are up 8,000%.

As DHS struggles with one type of danger from vehicles, partly driven by illegals’ ability to obtain driver’s licenses illicitly, the Department of Transportation (DOT) is addressing another vehicular risk: illegal alien commercial drivers.

The state of California alone issued 17,000 commercial driver's licenses (CDLs) to “dangerous foreign drivers.” Illegal alien truck drivers from India caused two deadly crashes, one in California and one in Florida, in the last few months. ICE also just arrested an Uzbek terrorist released into our country by the Biden administration and granted a CDL by Pennsylvania. Transportation Secretary Sean Duffy says he suspects some businesses function as “CDL mills” to bring in large numbers of illegal alien truck/bus drivers for lower wages, leaving many American truck drivers out of work or forced to accept lower wages.

Hundreds of thousands of illegal aliens are threats to the communities in which they live. The Trump administration is addressing the threats both by arrests and deportations, and by cracking down on abuses such as the CDL mills.
