The man who allegedly fired into an ABC studio is rumored to be an anti-Trumper. If true, it was fairly predictable. As we are increasingly seeing, the left — not the right — sees violence as the natural and inevitable reaction to anything that they dislike, such as the suspension of a very unpopular TV show host for making defamatory comments on air.
What do free speech advocates, news executives, Catholic schoolchildren, and anti-graffiti citizens have in common? Within just the last few weeks, violent leftists deemed them all deserving of death for holding different opinions. We are living through some profoundly dangerous times in America now.
Transgender Robert “Robin” Westman shot up Annunciation Catholic School because he hated Catholics. Transgender Snehal Ansh Srivastava, whose home was decorated with pro-Gaza and BLM graffiti, killed the father of a young child for taking a photo of him vandalizing property. LGBTQ leftist Tyler Robinson allegedly assassinated Charlie Kirk because he believed Charlie’s political and moral beliefs were “hateful.” And Anibal Hernandez-Santana reportedly fired into a local ABC News studio after expressing outrage at the suspension of Jimmy Kimmel.

The Sacramento Police Department told the press that they found Hernandez-Santana after identifying his car and tracking him to his residence. He was then “charged with assault with a deadly weapon, shooting into an occupied building, and negligent discharge of a firearm.” Police stated that a motive had not yet been identified but a new report could shed light on that.
Variety claims that an X account for Hernandez-Santana matches the arrestee’s LinkedIn account. The X account in question is full of hateful screeds against Donald Trump, Pam Bondi, and Republicans, such as: “Where is a good heart attack when we need it the most?? Please Join in my thoughts and prayers for the physical demise of our fearful leader.” Another post asserted, “Well, we done it.., instead of USA, we will be known from here on out as the Un-united States of Trump.” Yet another post includes a video accusing Donald Trump of being a Nazi and a fascist with Hernandez-Santana’s comment, “The time to fight like hell is now.”

He apparently mocked Kirk after the assassination, too: “Our thoughts and prayers are with Charlie Kirk and his family. May the prudence of his cost-benefit analysis for 2A rights vs. school shootings live on forever.”
Again, this account has not officially been confirmed yet as belonging to the ABC shooter. But the sentiments match those of countless leftists across the country, some of whom have been celebrating Kirk’s death, calling for more assassinations, or pretending that Kimmel‘s suspension is worse than the assassination. Hundreds or even thousands of the people who use such violent rhetoric will not attack others physically, but enough of them will launch violent attacks that it will be a rising problem.
And God help this country through the Democrats’ manufactured crisis.
