Democrat Minnesota Gov. Tim Walz not only spent years covering up for Somali fraudsters, he has also deliberately protected 1,300 criminal illegal aliens from being taken into federal custody.
The plain and ugly truth is that Democrats love crime so long as it doesn't impact them. Many Democrats break our laws or push legal boundaries themselves, so they have a kinship with criminals. Furthermore, they thrive politically on chaos, anger, violence, and unrest — indeed, the Democrat Party has always used violence as a political tool. And we know that Democrats are particularly fond of illegal immigration because it provides cheap labor and helps them rig elections. So what if a few hundred thousand killers, rapists, and terrorists come in as part of the deal?
Add to that the fact that Democrats love to defy the Trump administration no matter what, and it's not exactly shocking that Tampon Tim has gone out of his way to shield illegal aliens. He's certainly counting on the fact that he won't be facing jail time himself, even though 18 U.S. Code § 111 makes it illegal to interfere with federal immigration officers and 8 U.S. Code § 1324 forbids concealing or harboring illegal aliens. It would be nice if Democrat politicians didn't get away with so many violations of the law. At least Walz can't run for reelection.
We all know by now that Walz and other Democrats, including Minnesota Attorney General Keith Ellison, ignored and covered up evidence of the Somali fraud network wasting billions in taxpayer dollars in their state. That's why Rep. Anna Paulina Luna (R-Fla.) referred Walz and Ellison to the Department of Justice for criminal charges. Walz's efforts to protect foreign criminals are not confined to the fraud scandal, however.

The Department of Homeland Security (DHS) announced in a Jan. 13 press release that Minnesota’s government is defying Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) arrest detainers for over 1,360 illegal aliens, which includes violent criminals. In fact, since Trump came back into office, Walz has released almost 470 criminal illegal aliens onto the streets of his state rather than bring them to justice.
DHS Assistant Secretary Tricia McLaughlin slammed Walz and the Minneapolis mayor. “Governor Walz and Mayor Frey REFUSE to cooperate with ICE law enforcement and have released nearly 470 criminal illegal aliens back onto the streets of Minneapolis. We are calling on Walz and Frey to stop this dangerous policy and commit to honoring the ICE arrest detainers of the more than 1,360 criminal illegal aliens in Minnesota’s custody,” she said. “It is common sense. Criminal illegal aliens should not be released back onto our streets to terrorize more innocent Americans.”
Democrats don't have common sense; they have uncommon corruption. Walz and his ilk don't care any more about the victims of the 1,300 criminal illegal aliens than they do about the taxpayers who inadvertently lined the pockets of Somali fraudsters. It's all of a piece. The Democrat Party has made it painfully clear that they are the party of crime and violence.
