Two of the Democrats screaming that Donald Trump is a dictator for moving to shut down the deeply corrupt agency USAID are themselves accused of serious crimes. There’s nothing like dictatorial criminals labeling accountability as tyranny.
Two of the Democrat congressperselfs gibbering with fury over Trump’s shuttering of USAID’s D.C. headquarters are Ilhan Omar (D-Hamas) and Jamie Raskin (D-eep State). The truly ironic part is that these two, so self-righteously defending an immensely corrupt agency, are accused of major criminal activity. Raskin even received a pardon from pro-crime Joe Biden for his outrageous activities on the disgraced Jan. 6 Committee.
“It is really, really a sad day in America,” hyperventilated Omar. “We talked about Trump wanting to be a dictator on day one, and here we are. This is what the beginning of dictatorship looks like.”

Omar not only infamously promotes jihadi propaganda and defends genocidal Islamic movements but is also accused of immigration fraud and marrying her own brother, which would be a serious felony. Omar was under an Ethics Committee investigation but ultimately suffered no major consequences. I think it’s high time she did face consequences — especially since she is openly undermining the federal government’s efforts at necessary reform.

But Omar is likely in a furor because USAID has absolutely poured U.S. taxpayers’ money into Hamas-run, jihad-loving Gaza and her native Somalia. As I previously reported, in the U.S. Office of Palestinian Affairs’ announcement of $230 million in new funding for Gazans, the Office bragged, “Since 2021, USAID/West Bank and Gaza has invested over $600 million in economic support funding of the Palestinian people, in addition to the over $1.2 billion in humanitarian assistance since October 7, 2023.” USAID/West Bank and Gaza are, of course, subsidiaries of larger agencies.
Omar’s native Somalia also reportedly received $2.3 billion via USAID. Omar’s Muslim family is from Somalia, and she is accused of marrying her brother in order to bring him into the United States.
Meanwhile, there’s Raskin, who joined Omar in condemning the supposed tyranny of the Trump administration regarding USAID. The Western Journal reported in a Jan. 22 article on Trump Derangement Syndrome:
The latest example occurred Tuesday on CNN, when Democratic Rep. Jamie Raskin of Maryland, a member of the House of Representatives’ corrupt Jan. 6 committee who received a preemptive pardon from now-former President Joe Biden on Monday, spent 99 excruciating seconds spinning a familiar web of lies about the Capitol incursion of Jan. 6, 2021, then concluded by advancing a conspiracy theory so unhinged that only diabolical malice or extreme stupidity could explain it.
He hysterically demanded, “Are they being released as a reserve army of political foot soldiers to act on behalf of MAGA and Donald Trump?”
Raskin is afraid for his own weaselly little self, not of an army of J6 protesters, which is preposterous, but of actually being held to account by the Trump administration and our legal system for his weaponization of justice against American citizens.
The brutal truth is that Raskin’s and Omar’s defense of USAID is just another reason to shut the corrupt agency down.
