Chronicling the ongoing intersectional struggle to liberate women — progressively defined to include the legacy kind and the transgenders — from The Patriarchy™, one microaggression at a time.

No Odyssey, no honey

“Nightmare first date” reads the caption, which is presumably the setup for some kind of harrowing tale of sexual assault or whatever suffered by this damsel.

But no.

It’s about Diversity™ in Hollywood, and this woman’s date’s lack of appreciation thereof.

The sweet young lass we’ve got here went on a date with a suitor, only to learn, to her shock and horror, that he was not interested in seeing The Odyssey on account of Helen of Troy being portrayed by a Kenyan lady called Lupita Nyong'o, who looks very uncomfortably like the celebrated Biden DEI mascot Karine Jean-Pierre, right down to the hair and the vacant stare — in other words, unlike in any way the character in the time and place as portrayed in the original work.

The young man, during this lady’s interrogation to discover the root of his objection to the film, expressed difficulty in buying the premise that the above version of Helen of Troy might have literally started a war based purely on her unrivaled beauty and irresistibility.

Upon learning the reason for the gentleman’s disinterest in the film on account of his bigotry, the young lady’s “stomach dropped.”

Her besieged stomach then “turned to knots” and she felt “so sick and uncomfortable” that she simply could not continue the courtship.

The Lindsay Clancy litmus test

Even more so than The Odyssey, the Lindsay Clancy saga is going to be the gold standard test moving forward for progressive women vetting their dates.

If you don’t support women murdering their children in cold blood getting let off after running the psychosis defense, you’re obviously not to be trusted as a partner.

Accordingly, any guy hoping to bag one of these freaks is really going to have to get their mind right regarding Lindsay Clancy.

Like this guy, who expressed “empathy” for Lindsay Clancy on command and, in return for his compliance, got a pat on the head from his date.

I went on another date this Sunday and I asked him what he thought of the Lindsay Clancy because at this point I really think it’s a really good date question…
And he had the best answer I’ve heard so far…

He talked about, like, her mental health, like, history…

He himself has so much empathy* for her [upward vocal inflection].

*Pro-tip: When in doubt under the bright fluorescent lights, opposite a millennial Karen interrogating you about your level of support for women who strangle their children with exercise bands, just repeat the word “empathy” over and over and over.

You’ll be in like Flynn.
