Here’s a Long List of the Biden Administration’s Scandalous Cover-Ups

The only thing happening more often than Joe Biden going on vacation is his administration covering up various scandals. With the 2024 election coming up, I felt it was a good time to compile some of the most egregious cover-ups that have taken place. Obviously, this is a list that will grow because the administration is actively obstructing investigations of bribery and influence peddling, but there is still plenty more to cover that many people may have forgotten about with the passage of time.

The Afghanistan Withdrawal

Biden engaged in multiple cover-ups after his attempt to secure a favorable 9/11 anniversary photo op went horribly wrong. He concealed the deteriorating situation, pressured the Afghan President to lie about the situation on the ground, granted himself a waiver to avoid reporting to Congress on withdrawal risks, and even lied about how many Americans were left behind.

The Trump Raid

The raid of Mar-a-Lago was so egregiously corrupt that a cover-up ensued almost immediately. The White House not only sought to distance itself from the raid but also tried to convince us that Attorney General Merrick Garland wasn’t involved either—even though he approved the warrant. The justification for the raid underwent frequent changes, and we were even lied to about the scope of the warrant. Garland even threatened DOJ employees not to talk to the media about it.

Ashley Biden’s Diary

The leak of Joe Biden's daughter Ashley's diary made startling claims of his inappropriate behavior with her when she was a child. But, the FBI didn’t come knocking on the Oval Office door. Instead, it conducted a pre-dawn raid on Project Veritas founder James O’Keefe, even though Project Veritas had turned it over to the police without publishing it due to verification issues — though it has since been found to be authentic — in an attempt to suppress coverage of the story.

COVID-19’s origins

Thanks to China, COVID-19 caused millions of deaths worldwide, and while most people wanted China held accountable, Joe Biden didn’t. The Biden administration shut down a State Department investigation by Trump to determine if the COVID-19 virus escaped from the Wuhan Institute of Virology.

Hunter Biden’s laptop

In the fall of 2020, the story of Hunter Biden’s laptop threatened Biden’s presidential campaign. The information it provided was personally and politically damaging. The laptop contained not only troubling images and videos of Hunter but also revealed details about Biden family corruption and questionable business dealings. Biden, the Democrats, and the media conspired to dismiss it as Russian disinformation. Even after taking office, the Biden administration persisted in claiming the laptop was Russian disinformation, even though they knew the laptop and its contents were authentic, and his campaign was the driving force behind the effort to dismiss it as Russian disinformation

Cocainegate

It’s hard to forget this one. When a bag of cocaine was found in the White House, the cover-up started immediately. The official story about the cocaine changed multiple times, primarily involving the location where the cocaine was found. An investigation was announced, but it was clear from the beginning that the White House had no intention of revealing the culprit because only people connected to the first family would have been able to bypass security checkpoints to get the drugs inside the White House. The case officially remains "unsolved,” though according to reports, Joe Biden knows who’s responsible.

Dog-Bite Scandal

After reports that the Bidens’ German Shepherd Major was biting people in the White House, the first family promptly got rid of the dog, and replaced him with another German Shepherd named Commander. However, as time passed, we learned that Commander was also biting people in the White House, and the full extent of the aggressive behavior of the Bidens' canines was covered up. There were also reports that Joe Biden kicks Commander — which may very well explain the dog’s aggressiveness.

Biden’s health

You don’t need to be a doctor to know that Joe Biden isn’t well, be it physically or mentally, yet the White House is clearly trying to convince the public that Biden is spritely and youthful. Last February, White House physician Kevin O’Connor declared that Joe Biden is a “healthy, vigorous 80-year-old male who is fit to successfully execute the duties of the presidency.” The report included no assessment of his mental health and casually mentioned that “one small lesion on the President’s chest was excised today and sent for traditional biopsy.” However, it wasn’t until weeks later that the White House admitted that the lesion was suspected to be cancerous, even though the results of the biopsy were likely known within days.

The White House also quietly started using shorter stairs for Biden to board and depart Air Force One in order to make it easier for him.

Garagegate

Remember when we found out that Joe Biden had kept classified documents at his private office at the Penn Biden Center and in the garage of his home? We learned about it in January of last year, but the documents were reportedly actually discovered just before the 2022 midterm elections, which would have been politically devastating in light of the fact that the Biden administration had raided Trump's home months earlier. There was evidence that Hunter Biden may have had access to the documents and was using them for his illicit business dealings. It was also revealed that, despite repeatedly claiming to have been fully cooperating with the investigation, Biden didn’t originally cooperate and opposed having the Department of Justice search his home. Eventually, it was revealed that the Biden White House knew about the documents back in 2021, and staffers were going back and forth retrieving the documents on multiple occasions between March 2021 and October 2022.

Oh, and then Biden was let off the hook for mishandling classified documents.

Balloongate

Beijing Biden strikes again. Last year, the Biden administration allowed a Chinese spy balloon to surveil U.S. military installations and likely wouldn't have told the public about it, except that civilians had discovered the spy balloon, prompting widespread media coverage. The balloon was able to acquire and transmit intelligence to Beijing in real time. Virtually nothing the White House claimed about the incident made any sense, and the Biden administration tried to deflect criticism by claiming that a similar incident occurred under Trump, but it quickly became clear that this was a lie

Austingate

Allow me to name this one. On Saturday, it was finally reported that Defense Secretary Lloyd Austin has been in the hospital since January 1. It was for an elective procedure, and some complications arose, necessitating a longer stay at Walter Reed. Why did the Biden administration keep his hospital stay secret? Considering the current state of world affairs, covering up the hospitalization of the Defense Secretary is a huge deal, and it's hard to come up with a valid reason for the White House to keep it quiet.
