The United Nations (UN) representative from Pakistan reached a new level of mind-blowing shamelessness as he whined that all the UN designated terror groups are Muslim. Does this brazen buffoon want us to believe there are countless Christian and Jewish terror groups being protected? And naturally it couldn’t possibly be because murder of “infidels” is explicitly commanded in Islam. According to the Pakistani, “right-wing extremism” is the true threat.
The UN certainly isn’t biased against Islam. The 50 Muslim nations of the world carry significant clout there, and its agency UNRWA actively employs and supports literal terrorists in Gaza. If there is no non-Muslim name on the UN’s terror list, it’s not because the UN is “Islamophobic,” it’s because Islam is the number one ideology responsible for major global terrorism.
The Pakistani representative is essentially complaining because even the Islam-loving UN has noticed that Islam teaches its adherents to commit jihad. Oh, the prejudice, the prejudice!
There is no “dangerous stigmatization of Islam and Muslims” as Pakistan's UN Ambassador Asim Iftikhar claimed. Murder, rape, and enslavement of non-Muslims are all endorsed and even commanded by Islamic sacred texts, including the Quran. Actually, most of the world doesn’t want to recognize that, and Iftikhar has apparently decided to use Westerners’ woke delusions against them by attacking the UN’s last shred of honesty about the increasing global plague of Islamic terrorism. Pretending there is a major international threat from “right-wing extremists” is preposterous, but that’s what Iftikhar asserted.

Iftikhar lectured, “It is not understandable, and is indeed unacceptable, that every name on the Security Council's terrorism lists is Muslim, while terrorists and violent extremists elsewhere escape scrutiny. There is no non-Muslim in the lists.” As my colleague Robert Spencer commented, “Is this clown serious?”
The Pakistani ambassador lied, “We must accept the reality. There has been a surge in the emergence of right-wing, extremist and fascist movements in several countries and regions of the world, leading to terrorist violence.” Iftikhar is using favorite woke catchphrases to manipulate the leftist UN. But we know the truth — the significant surges in violence globally have been from leftist, Communist, and Islamic groups, certainly not from right-wingers.
The genocides of Druze and Christians in Syria and Nigeria, the attempted genocide against Israelis, the rises in sexual and violent crime in European countries, the bloody persecutions of Jews and Christians across numerous African and Asian nations are all fueled by Muslims who put their murderous religion into practice.

It is not discrimination to read Islamic texts and laws honestly and note that terrorism is inspired and legitimized by these texts. The many Muslims who are not jihadis must overlook, deny, or attempt to explain away numerous verses from their own religious texts.
Iftikhar couldn’t be more wrong. The problem underlying the designated terror list is not Islamophobia; the problem underlying it is Islam.
