Exclusive: Climate Expert Calls Out Walz’s Radical Climate Agenda

Climate truth-teller Steve Milloy slammed Kamala Harris’s VP pick Gov. Tim Walz (D-Minn.), saying that “they’re going to live and die by the progressive sword.”

JunkScience’s Steve Milloy explained why Walz — and Kamala — present a threat to American energy and American industry in exclusive comments to PJ Media.

“He is locked into the climate hoax and the green energy scam, and it’s really unfortunate,” Milloy stated. After falsely named “green” projects and anti-oil policies from the Biden-Harris administration fueled inflation, the last thing America needs is four years of an even more radical Harris-Walz administration.

As governor of Minnesota, Milloy explained, Walz “signed a bill committing Minnesota to be net zero by 2040. Of course, it’s just crazy, there’s no way that that’s going to happen in Minnesota.” Net zero carbon emissions goals are not only impossible to achieve but actively harmful since carbon is absolutely necessary for all life on earth, including humans (and food crops).

Milloy emphasized, “Minnesota is never going to hit net zero, just never, never, never. But, you know, if he keeps going down this path, where [the state is] dismantling its fossil fuel plants, and replacing them with wind and solar, well you’re going to have the same sort of situation that happened in Texas in [2021] where the windmills froze and, you know, hundreds of people died.”

It could be worse in Minnesota, given how cold the winters are there. “When the weather gets extreme, and we’re still going to have extreme cold in Minnesota in the winter, you can’t rely on wind and solar. It’s just not going to work,” Milloy stated. So-called “green” energy is inefficient, expensive, and toxic to the environment. Also, there is no climate crisis. Only ideologues interested in their personal power and enrichment would continue pushing such a disastrous energy source.

Walz, Milloy noted, probably opposes fracking too, since Harris does. Interestingly, another potential VP pick, Gov. Josh Shapiro (D-Pa.), lost out after he was criticized for (among other things) his reported support for fracking.

Milloy noted how damaging a Harris-Walz administration would be for energy: “They’re very radical on just about everything, including the environment. I don’t see how this is going to help [Harris] get elected … a straight anti-fossil fuel ticket, I mean, how’s that going to play in Pennsylvania, which [Democrats] need?”

Indeed, Milloy foresees this being a powerful talking point for President Donald Trump and his running mate Sen. JD Vance (R-Ohio). “Trump and JD Vance will hammer that home. [Harris and Walz] are just against American energy,” Milloy told me.

He continued, “You know, it was Biden-Harris anti-fossil fuel policies that caused the inflation that we are still dealing with today, cannot get rid of, the high prices which have persisted, and if we have [the policies] for another four years, it’s just — things are just going to get worse.”

Harris might have been able to pretend she had a “moderate” on her ticket with a different running mate, but certainly not with Walz.

“If she had picked Shapiro, at least you could say he would have been a moderating influence,” Milloy posited. “She just went with straight radical, so, you know, they’re going to live and die by the progressive sword.”
