Good news: a Nobel Prize-winning scientist just announced that there’s “no climate crisis”! The bad news? Joe Biden just announced $6 billion more in taxpayer money for climate alarmist projects. Because Democrats never let reality interfere with their ideology.
Speaking at a Deposit of Faith Coalition event Tuesday, Dr. John Clauser declared, “I believe there is no climate crisis.” Hooray! Now we can stop weaponizing eco-apocalypse to increase government control and government spending, right? Wrong. As the Nobel Prize in Physics 2022 winner was explaining how climate alarmism is scientifically false, Joe Biden was gleefully describing government investment in climate alarmist initiatives.
According to The Hill on Nov. 14, Biden said America isn’t “decarbonizing fast enough.” Something climate alarmists never mention is that humans and plants (including food crops) are carbon-based life forms, meaning we need carbon to survive. There’s even evidence that increased carbon is a benefit for plants. Furthermore, Dr. Clauser specifically stated in his talk that CO2 impact is “negligible” on the atmosphere. None of that is stopping Biden from spending our taxpayer money on totally unnecessary and unhelpful climate projects.
Biden proudly declared of the new Fifth National Climate Assessment, “It lays out the threats and the dangers, but most experts would acknowledge that it also shows solutions are within reach.” He added, “It takes time for the investments we’re making to be fully materialized, but we just have to keep at it. We need to do more and move faster.” Altogether, the Biden administration is investing $6 billion we can’t afford from the Inflation Reduction Act and Bipartisan Infrastructure law on pretending to save the planet. The Hill (keep in mind that “green” energy is actually toxic for the environment, unreliable, inefficient, and unprofitable):
The Energy Department will be putting $3.9 billion into strengthening the electric grid to make it less vulnerable to extreme weather and natural disasters, in addition to increasing grid capacity and bolstering renewable energy.
The Environmental Protection Agency will be putting forward $2 billion in grants aimed at helping communities to deploy carbon-free energy and bolster their ability to respond to environmental issues … The Interior Department will be putting $50 million toward water resource reliability and ecosystem health in Western states, and an additional $50 million toward funding for water conservation projects and hydropower upgrades.
Again, Clauser specifically exposed the fraud of dangerous climate change in his talk. “As much as it may upset many people, my message is the planet is not in peril,” Clauser said, as quoted by Climate Depot. “This is good news. I believe there is no climate crisis. The alleged atmospheric CO2, and methane have a negligible effect on the climate.” Climate alarmists have been consistently wrong for 50+ years now.
One of Clauser’s interesting points in his talk was that the earth essentially has a built-in weather “thermostat” for preventing catastrophic global warming. He also undermined the argument that carbon emissions are poisoning the atmosphere.

Atmospheric CO2 and CH4 have a negligible effect on the climate
Steve Koonin’s recent book Unsettled? points out the IPCC’s 40 different computer models are all in “wild” disagreement with each other, and cannot explain observed climate history. The IPCC predictions of a climate crisis are correspondingly unreliable!
The IPCC’s computer modeling is based on seriously flawed physics. It leaves out important conspicuous features of clouds.
I claim here that the IPCC’s computer models do not even include the dominant mechanism that governs the earth’s temperature and climate.
My “cloud-sunlight-reflectivity thermostat mechanism” is clearly the dominant process! It has a heating and cooling radiative forcing … [a] natural “Solar Radiation Management” system, that controls and stabilized the earth’s climate and temperature … The presence of increased CO2 concentration in the earth’s atmosphere, manmade or not, has a … negligible importance with respect to the thermostat’s … mechanism in governing the earth’s temperature and climate. The cloud-sunlight-reflectivity thermostat mechanism is more than 100 times more powerful than the IPCC’s claimed power imbalance.
Clauser ended by noting that methane, another demonized gas, has a warming force similar to CO2’s “negligible” effect. He added that the U.S. government’s claim — specifically, National Oceanographic and Atmospheric Association’s (NOAA) claim — about a supposed increase in “extreme weather” is “false.” Clauser labeled it “dishonest and/or incompetent government sponsored disinformation.” According to Clauser, he can even disprove the claim based on NOAA’s own data.
There never has been imminent climate catastrophe; it was always an ideological claim, not a scientific one. Biden is just wasting the $6 billion of our money on fake “climate change.”
