If the unexamined life is not worth living, as Socrates said, then a whole lot of radical leftists need serious help. They can go straight from sobbing that the eeeeevil right-wing Nazi racist KKK terrorist homophobes could trigger major political violence to mourning a failed assassination attempt and fantasizing about a successful one. The same Democrat Party that praised Antifa thugs burning down cities is sending peaceful pro-lifers and Trump allies to jail.
Libs of TikTok shared an instance of one particularly silly and brainwashed wokie, the perfect example of what I mean. An employee of Timcast was asking a rainbow mask-wearing Karen about her reaction to the Trump assassination attempt.
“It’s a shame the person missed,” she sighed through the mask, “but, um, it’s ironic that the shooter was also [a registered] Republican, and I am scared about political violence.” You know what’s ironic, Lesbian Lizzie? The fact that you managed to fit a wish for Trump’s murder and an expressed fear of political violence into the same statement. Incidentally, she was holding a pistol crossbow in her hands at the time.

Stunned, the Timcast interviewer tried to point out to her the contradictory nature of her statement. She claimed that Trump’s influence makes him “dangerous” and then had the chutzpah to refer to Thomas Jefferson's quote, “The tree of liberty must be refreshed from time to time with the blood of patriots and tyrants.”
Jefferson, who wrote the Declaration of Independence, would have been staggered at her citing him to defend her TDS. Of course, this woman would no doubt be shocked at the suggestion that Joe Biden is a tyrant, even though Biden has proudly and openly violated Constitutional rights. She described herself as a “socialist” when explaining her Communist hammer and sickle tattoo.
This masked mental case isn’t an isolated example of leftist hypocrisy. Kamala Harris helped murder and rape suspects get bailed out of jail but claimed that Jan. 6, in which the only individuals killed were peaceful protestors, was equal to the crises of 9/11 and Pearl Harbor. The media and Democrat politicians spent years screeching that Jan. 6 protesters, most of whom were peaceful, were literal “terrorists.” But now Democrats are tripping over themselves rushing to support actual terrorists in Gaza.
The same college students who claim that deadnaming is violence are chanting genocidal slogans against Jews. Antifa rioters and violent pro-abortion vandals went free as Jan. 6 protesters were abused in prison.

And, of course, as I highlighted just after the assassination attempt on Trump, Democrats from Joe Biden on down have been hurling every vile accusation and insult at Trump for years. But these same politicians and media figures who called Trump a dictator trying to kill democracy and start a terrorist movement pretended to be shocked and sympathetic when someone finally took a shot at Trump’s head.
Wokeism really is a mental illness, which can cause people to accuse their political opponents of the very mistakes and crimes of which they themselves are deeply guilty.
