‘Jane Doe’ in hiding, ‘scared for her own safety’ and afflicted by a ‘deteriorating mental state’

One month ago, the woman now known to America as Cornell’s Jane Doe was living in New York City among thousands of other aspirational twentysomethings, attempting to break into the hotel industry and build a new life, according to her attorney, Thomas Giuffra.
But that plan has been derailed since she filed a lawsuit against Cornell University and others, alleging she was raped at a frat house in 2024.
Instead, Giuffra said, Doe spent Wednesday taping up paper to obscure the windows of her parents’ home out of fear that a gunman could attack her, and reeling from a swatting episode that he said prompted police to swarm their home Tuesday night with weapons drawn…
Doe is increasingly scared for her own safety, [attorney, Thomas] Giuffra said in a phone interview with CNN on Wednesday as he detailed his client’s deteriorating mental state after an escalating series of violent threats…
Doe herself has been following media reports and social media posts on her case, Giuffra told CNN as he described a family reeling from a sudden and terrifying ordeal that punctured their sense of safety.

While swatting is obviously illegal and extremely dangerous, hence not to be condoned, a sense of decency and justice compels one to file this heart-wrenching story under “play stupid games, win stupid prizes.”
No violins for you!
The whole “Jane Doe” thing is really getting out of hand.
CNN obviously knows her true identity by now, as does the entire corporate state media.
Yet they persist with the “Jane Doe” thing.
Straight out of a Kafka novel, in their quest to unburden women from literally any accountability for any of their actions ever, the progressive left and corporate media actually believe that floozies like “Jane Doe” should be allowed to make inflammatory accusations that wreck reputations and potentially lead to the imprisonment of the accused, all while enjoying the veil of anonymity.

For the record, several credible sources have established “Jane Doe’s” true identity, which I will be happy to confirm once it’s established in official court records, as her lawyer is obviously lawsuit-happy.
Bear in mind that the local police in extremely liberal Ithaca, N.Y., already thoroughly investigated this current rape hoax — the latest in a seemingly never-ending stream of rape hoaxes that activists and ambulance-chasing lawyers have the capacity to conjure out of the ether, starting with the 2006 Duke lacrosse hoax and actually going back even further — two full years ago when it happened in 2024.
And even though it’s safe to assume that the local DA felt the heat from the pursued charges and was probably naturally inclined to side with the “victim” anyway, the evidence so overwhelmingly pointed to the reality that this girl willingly engaged in an orgy while willingly high on ketamine that attempting to prosecute the case would amount to professional misconduct.
And yet, two years later, after filing a specious civil lawsuit in a brazen cash-grab, corporate state media still affords “Jane Doe” the courtesy of anonymity while gleefully publishing the names of the accused.
