The (Former) MSNBC Race Lady: The Roman Empire collapsed because ‘it didn’t have enough strength in its diversity’
Sporting her signature culturally appropriated blonde hair, a cultural crime for which she has never been made to apologize, former MSNBC resident race hustler and Joy Reid recently explained her theory that the reason behind the Roman Empire’s collapse — rather than the highly nuanced political, economic, and social forces at play — was actually that it didn’t fulsomely embrace Diversity™.
If you take [diversity] away and try to distill us just down to white folks, we'll be like Europe—an aging, slowly dying, former empire. The Roman Empire didn't survive because it didn't have enough strength in its diversity. It suppressed its diversity and it died. If US wants to be the Roman Empire, keep voting [for Republicans].

This is one of those frequent “citation needed” moments for revisionist Social Justice™ historians who brazenly assert wild claims such as “Rome collapsed because it didn’t have enough Persons of Color™ or whatever” and are never expected to back them up with any supporting evidence. (In polite liberal circles, of course, requesting evidence for outlandish theories is itself condemned as racist, as a way to enforce groupthink.)
Despite repeating the mantra constantly that “diversity is our strength,” like the “four legs good, two legs bad” bleating of the sheep in Animal Farm, these people never — literally never — bother explaining what exactly it is about “diversity” that makes any society stronger.
One could make the argument, of course, that “diversity” of thought or disposition or skillset, or some other form of diversity distributed throughout the population is actually a net benefit — except that these people exclusively mean “diversity” in the context of racial demographics.

What’s more, they don’t even mean “diversity” in the literal sense of the term within the strict confines of the racial context, as in “a wide array of more or less evenly distributed racial identities”; when they say “diversity,” they mean it as a euphemism for “fewer white people.”
So essentially what the Race Lady is claiming here is that Rome collapsed because it had too many white people — a claim for which, again, she provides no factual basis, because no one she ever talks to in her echo chamber ever demands it.
George Soros' Open Society Foundations caught bankrolling slavery reparations push in UK
Reporting from the Telegraph reveals that George Soros' NGO empire has waged an extensive campaign to coerce the British government into paying slavery reparations to a slew of countries in Africa and the Caribbean.

Funding from a group founded by George Soros has supported the slavery reparations campaign against Britain, The Telegraph can reveal.
The Open Society Foundations (OSF), established by Hungarian investor Mr Soros and now led by his son, Alex Soros, has donated vast sums from its $23bn (£17.2bn) endowment to progressive causes.
The foundation has provided hundreds of thousands of dollars to groups seeking to claim reparations from Britain for slavery and colonialism.
The OSF helped to found a joint Caribbean and African campaign, and supported organisations that are now considering international litigation that could heap pressure on the British Government.
The article goes on to describe in great detail the OSF as a “key partner” for initiatives around the world, particularly in the Caribbean and Africa, training lawyers in those countries on strategies to sue the UK for reparations, while also bankrolling partner NGOs and governments in on the cash-grabbing Social Justice™ hustle.
