UK: Notoriously violent and recalcitrant transgender released from prison, public awaits inevitable recidivism with baited breath

The unrepentant tranny known as “Barbie Kardashian,” serving time after he devised a scheme to torture his mother to death with a “screwdriver, knife, and boiling water,” plans to use his newfound freedom to fashion himself a vagina.

Via Mirror (UK) (emphasis added):

Transgender prisoner Barbie Kardashian has been released from prison despite police having "grave concerns” over what she might do next after threatening to rape, torture and kill her own mother.

Kardashian, who was born a male named Gabriel Alejandro Gentile but since changed name by deed poll and now identifies as female, was sentenced in March 2023 to five-and-a-half years with the final 12 months suspended. She served two years and six months of her sentence and walked free on Wednesday.

A jury found her guilty of seven threats against her mother at her trial. The court heard how she had planned to travel to her mother’s house, overpower her, and then rape and violently torture her with a screwdriver, knife and boiling water

Speaking outside the jail, Kardashian insisted she was not a threat to the general public and was unrepentant about the threats she was convicted of making against her mother. Kardashian added that she would press ahead with plans to have surgery to have what she called female genitalia.

Detective Garda Niall Fitzgerald told the trial that it was the belief that Kardashian continued to pose “a significant threat” to her mother as well as the “wider public”. Kardashian was a resident at Coovagh House, a long term residential secure care facility in Limerick for youths aged up to 18 years who are considered to display high-risk behaviour, at the time of the offence.

I give it about six months tops before Barbie re-offends — which the government will then pretend it had no way of foreseeing.

‘The Librarians’

An unlikely band of plucky and portly, in equal measure, heroines —public school librarians, Kamala Harris voters one and all — have taken the fight against literal fascism! to the ultimate front: the war for children’s minds.

Check out this totally absurd framing, as if these out-of-shape older women are some kind of revolutionary three-percenters in an ad hoc cavalry taking on King George himself in the fight for dignity and freedom.

Via The Librarians (emphasis added):

Librarians emerge as first responders in the fight for democracy and our First Amendment Rights. As they well know, controlling the flow of ideas means control over communities.

In Texas, the Krause List targets 850 books focused on race and LGBTQia+ stories – triggering sweeping book bans across the U.S. at an unprecedented rate. As tensions escalate, librarians connect the dots from heated school and library board meetings nationwide to lay bare the underpinnings of extremism fueling the censorship efforts. Despite facing harassment, threats, and laws aimed at criminalizing their work – the librarians’ rallying cry for freedom to read is a chilling cautionary tale.

The Newspaper of Record was, you may not be surprised to learn, beside itself in its lauding of the “profiles in courage.”

Via The New York Times (emphasis added):

At school board meetings in different states, the librarians are accused of “grooming” children through pornographic material. Most of the supposedly problematic themes deal with race, sexuality or gender. Picture books have even drawn heat for depicting naked children, animals and statues…

At stake are First Amendment rights, and the librarians are shown as the vanguard of efforts to protect them. That one of these school employees appears onscreen in identity-camouflaging silhouette underscores the level of hostility they can face.

Several of the women featured in “The Librarians” were fired for refusing to remove books from shelves — or sometimes for merely asking questions about the directive to do so. The sense of emergency makes the profiles in courage all the more heartening. From its superb opening-credits sequence paying tribute to card catalogs of yore to its sharp selection of vintage clips and intimate reportage, “The Librarians” is as well-crafted as it is profoundly alarming.
