Bank of America abandons DEI initiatives, cites ‘new business climate’
Via USA Today (emphasis added):
Bank of America BAC.N has scrapped some of its diversity initiatives as it navigates a new business climate under U.S. President Donald Trump.
The second largest U.S. lender dropped references to its diversity hiring goals and a rule requiring hiring managers to consider a diverse group of candidates, according to an annual filing on Tuesday.
The changes depart from policies laid out in the bank's proxy statement last year.
"We evaluate and adjust our programs in light of new laws, court decisions and, more recently, executive orders from the new administration," a bank spokesperson said.
It’s unclear whether the DEI moratorium applies to Bank of America’s sponsorship of sodomy festivals nationwide or just to its hiring practices concerning “marginalized communities.”

After initial defiance, Apple signals willingness to cave to Trump DEI rollback demands
For whatever reason, Apple shareholders are among the staunchest bitter clingers to DEI in the Golden Age. Even so, the legal realities on the ground may force their hand anyway.
Via BBC (emphasis added):
Apple boss Tim Cook has said his company may have to change its diversity practices as the US legal landscape shifts.
His comments came just minutes after a majority of shareholders rejected a proposal calling on the tech giant to consider ending its diversity policies, such as the use of race and sex in hiring decisions.
Apple had urged shareholders to vote against the measure, which the company had argued was "inappropriately" trying "to micromanage" its business.
The scrutiny of the firm comes as US President Donald Trump has called for an end to diversity, equity and inclusion (DEI) programmes in the government and private sector, including at Apple.
Fired USAID workers get emotional outside of office after ushering-out
Given that USAID was caught funneling billions in cash to fund transgender grooming operations worldwide in the name of gender equity or whatever, I’ll posit that this is a DEI story.

At any rate, let’s never pass up a good opportunity for schadenfreude. We earned it over the past four years.

Former United States Agency for International Development (USAID) employees were seen collecting their belongings and exiting the federal building a final time following a slew of layoffs, video obtained by Fox News Digital showed.
Dozens of individuals gathered outside the USAID building in Washington, D.C., on Thursday to support the ex-USAID employees who were recently placed on leave, holding signs that read "you're not the federal worker that should be fired" and "make America compassionate again."
The ex-USAID employees were met by supporters outside protesting the layoffs, carrying their belongings and flowers as they left the building together in a line.
Perusing the photos of the purge, one is hard-pressed not to notice that 90% of these casualties are either frumpy menopausal women or blatantly homosexual men.

Imagine being a private citizen so outraged by having your tax money — previously used for grooming children of color worldwide — saved that you decide to take time out of your own day to go down to a federal building and protest the firing of government bureaucrats doing weird social engineering schemes for the CIA.
Sad!
