The blatant hypocrisy of the left never ceases to amaze me. For four years, Democrats had a slogan they couldn't stop repeating: no one is above the law. They said it on cable news, they said it on the House floor, and they said it every time Joe Biden's Justice Department or Soros-funded prosecutors engaged in blatant lawfare against Trump. They treated it like a sacred principle.
It’s funny how fast that principle disappears once federal agents show up at a Democrat's door.
On Monday, Homeland Security Investigations agents searched the Washington-area home of Rep. Ilhan Omar (D-Minn.) as part of an ongoing federal criminal investigation. A Justice Department spokesperson confirmed that agents acted on a search warrant a judge had authorized. So it was all above board. And the investigation itself? It began on Biden's watch.

Omar took to X shortly after the search.
I’m ok. Make no mistake: this is an attempt to target political enemies and weaponize federal law enforcement. For ten years, Trump has targeted me with baseless lies and smear campaigns. This is just the latest escalation in his campaign of political intimidation. I will not be silenced.

She went on to accuse Trump of spending ten years targeting her with "baseless lies and smear campaigns," and cast the search as the latest escalation in what she called his campaign of political intimidation.
Naturally, Democrats are coming out of the woodwork to condemn the raid. I’m not gonna spend the time to share them all, but trust me when I tell you that virtually every Democrat who has rushed to Omar's defense is getting hit with screenshots of their own old posts cheering the raid on Mar-a-Lago. The receipts are piling up fast.

That raid, of course, was corrupt in every sense of the word, and we have the receipts to prove it. FBI records Judicial Watch obtained earlier this year show the Biden-era Justice Department pushed ahead with the Aug. 8, 2022, search of Mar-a-Lago even though FBI field agents didn't believe probable cause existed. For five weeks, agents raised objections, doubted the case for searching Trump's office and bedroom, and urged DOJ to simply work with Trump attorney Evan Corcoran to recover the documents. The Justice Department brushed them off and demanded a raid.
On top of that, there’s evidence of coordination among the FBI, DOJ, and Biden's White House Counsel's Office, and then-Attorney General Merrick Garland personally signed off on the search. The Biden administration at the highest levels had weaponized the federal government to go after Donald Trump, Biden’s political rival, to stop him from becoming president, and the same people whining about the raid on Ilhan Omar’s house today cheered for Biden’s efforts to put Trump in prison, including the media.

He added Omar is embroiled in fraud allegations — and that there's significant information the public does not know about the investigation into her. Short also noted a Democrat judge approved the Omar raid. The rest of the CNN panel seemed deflated by the time Short had finished saying his piece. He dumped cold water on their TDS momentum. Democrats and corporate media always say nobody is above the law — unless it's a Democrat. Their hypocrisy knows no bounds.

So forgive me for enjoying this moment. The Democrats complaining far and wide about Omar lack the self-awareness to see that they applauded a blatant, corrupt effort by Biden and his administration to put Trump in prison and keep him from returning to the White House. The raid on Omar’s home came with a Democrat judge's approval and an investigation Biden's own team started. The raid on Mar-a-Lago happened over the objections of the very agents tasked with carrying it out, and with the approval of Joe Biden’s wingman, Merrick Garland.
