The Shocking Hypocrisy Behind 'No Kings' Protests That You Need to Know

The so-called “No Kings” protests sweeping liberal cities on Saturday are crawling with leftist hypocrisy. These nut jobs are out there waving signs that say “No Kings” and chanting about “saving democracy,” yet these are the same people who cheered when Joe Biden ruled by executive fiat, crushed dissent, and trampled the Constitution. The truth is that they don’t hate kings. They just want their own.

There’s no clearer picture of Democratic hypocrisy than Biden’s presidency.

Remember when Biden mandated COVID vaccinations, forcing millions of Americans to choose between their jobs and their bodily autonomy? So much for “my body, my choice,” right? The same crowd now raging against “authoritarianism” demanded that the unvaccinated be fired, banned from public spaces, and even denied medical care. They were fine with coercion as long as it came from their side. They wanted control, not freedom.

And who can forget the lockdowns? These self-righteous “No Kings” protesters had no problem when Anthony Fauci, the architect of the nation’s COVID response, demanded that Americans shutter small businesses, churches, and schools. The left mocked anyone who questioned the unscientific mandates, while their Democrat leaders broke their own rules, sipping wine at French Laundry or getting their hair done at closed salons. On his first day in office, Biden violated his own mask mandate for federal buildings mere hours after he signed it, because, obviously, the rules don’t apply to him.

Then there’s the cruelty of it all. Millions of Americans were forced to say goodbye to dying loved ones through glass or over FaceTime because bureaucrats decreed it “unsafe” to visit hospitals or nursing homes. Families suffered unimaginable heartbreak, and the same people now chanting “no kings” shrugged it off as “the price of safety.” They didn’t care about freedom or compassion, only compliance. Ordinary Americans lost everything, while the ruling class got richer and more powerful. Then, in the ultimate abuse of power, he weaponized his Justice Department to go after his chief political rival, Donald Trump, for daring to run against him, and the left cheered again.

If ruling by decree, silencing dissent, and jailing opponents isn’t the behavior of a king, then what is?

And then there’s the Democratic Party’s piece de résistance: it literally, figuratively, and metaphorically crowned Kamala Harris as their presidential nominee without a single primary vote. No debates, no competition, not even the slightest pretense of choice, just a backroom deal blessed by party elites. And the same “No Kings” protesters, who love to lecture about monarchy, barely flinched while their candidate was handpicked, voters be damned. The coronation was seamless. All that was left was to place a crown on her head.

The left doesn’t oppose kingship; it just hates the idea of power that it doesn’t control. Leftists are not against authority; they just want to monopolize it. When Donald Trump was president the first time, Democrats called him a dictator for enforcing immigration laws or defending free speech. But when Biden used executive orders to force medical decisions, censored Americans online, and sicced the Justice Department on parents, the left applauded.

This is the modern Democratic Party: a movement obsessed with control, allergic to accountability, and completely blind to its own hypocrisy. “No Kings”? Please. These people worship at the altar of government power.
