Scandal hit Stanford University after it altered a picture of three students to make two of the students “better looking” and replace one young man with a totally fake (AI) black woman. This is not an example of one dumb mistake; it is symptomatic of an attitude still entrenched not only at Stanford, but at many universities that prioritize ideology over reality or even compliance with federal guidelines.

The Trump administration has banned diversity, equity, and inclusion from universities that receive federal taxpayer funding. But many universities are still enforcing DEI and brainwashing students. Below are just two examples of many where university staff accidentally admitted on camera that they are still doing DEI.

Stanford is so pathetic that it is even using AI to generate fake students for promotional materials. Below you can see the original photo and the one that caused the scandal, the AI-edited version. There are obviously many problems with the AI edits, including the fact that Stanford evidently thinks it can only achieve acceptable appeal by artificially resculpting real people's faces. But the biggest problem is the obvious DEI obsession, because that is explicitly against federal guidelines.

The Trump administration has cut off a good deal of money to certain programs and research in academia, but until and unless it cuts off all federal taxpayer aid to these universities, the universities will simply do a little play-acting about reform. These big leftist universities have not meaningfully addressed antisemitism or pitched DEI. Why would they, when they have spent years deliberately hiring professors and staff who are ideologues above all else?

Stanford University still brags about its “Institutional Equity, Access & Community” division, which has three offices, including “Diversity & Access.” That pushes “affirmative action.” The evidence is all still available on an official Stanford University website. Let’s be honest: The university is just as dedicated to DEI as ever. It needs to lose all of our taxpayer cash until and unless it is willing to earn that cash by rejecting racism.
