As millions of American couples wait for years to adopt babies, with many times fewer children up for adoption than couples looking to be parents, the Democrat governor of Massachusetts just legalized abortion up to birth.
There is no such thing as an unwanted child. There are up to eight couples for every potential child up for adoption, and part of the reason is that American politicians have chosen to encourage women to murder their unborn babies, instead of offering them to other loving families. As someone who had multiple childhood friends and a cousin who were adopted, I know how much joy it brings to couples who might not be able to conceive biological children. And yet Democrats want to kill more and more babies, depriving the children of life and many couples of parenthood.
A blue state just legalized abortion up until birth.

Surrounded by applauding women, Massachusetts Gov. Maura Healey signed a sweeping abortion bill Monday that removes the state’s gestational age limit, giving health care providers greater discretion to perform abortions later… pic.twitter.com/ZtDIgWwVMC
Science has proven that human life begins at the moment of conception. The Didache, the ancient collection of the Apostles' first-century sayings, explicitly condemns abortion, without any exceptions. The Declaration of Independence affirms that every human has a God-given right to life, and the Fourteenth Amendment to the Constitution codifies the right to life under the highest law of our land. Furthermore, testimony and evidence from thousands of experts show that abortion is never necessary to save a mother's life, that abortion adds to the trauma of rape victims, and that it puts women at higher risk of substance abuse, depression, and self-harm. Surgical abortion dismembers, poisons, or beheads a baby, and abortion pills starve them to death.
Frankly, no type of abortion should be legal for any reason anywhere in the United States. But because in the third trimester the babies look so obviously like they do after birth, it is easier to arouse Americans' sympathy about abortion at that stage. And perhaps it would help to point out that in 2023, the U.S. Census Bureau predicted a significant drop in population in our country within the next few years. We're aborting the next generation out of existence, making room for the Third World illegal aliens Democrats keep bringing in en masse.
At 18, Greg Mayo begged through tears, “Please, don't kill my baby,” offering marriage and adoption. Powerless to stop the abortion, he faced decades of hidden grief. Today, he shares his story to help men heal from lost fatherhood. 🙏💔 pic.twitter.com/sZ07zVMfkv

And again, there are many more couples ready and eager to adopt in America than there are children to adopt. There are up to two million U.S. couples looking to adopt at any given time, according to American Adoptions, and possibly as many as 36 prospective families for each child actually put up for adoption. According to Grok, there is even a waiting list for adopting Down Syndrome babies. Democrats always talk as if unwed or impoverished mothers are trapped between two choices of miserable motherhood and abortion, but they never mention the choice of adoption. Young women can give the gift of life to their children, bless other couples with children, and then have a fresh start in life without the guilt of abortion.
Instead of accepting Democrats' base talking points about abortion and deciding to be "moderate" about baby killing, Republicans need to be exposing the horrors of abortion, the traumatic effects on women, and the huge number of couples longing to adopt. There is no unwanted child.
