Secretary of War Pete Hegseth announced he and the War Department were cutting ties with Harvard University, saying they are too woke. And he was as on target with that accusation, as he was with the strikes on narco-terrorist boats.
It is fairly obvious that higher education in this country is in a horrific state, handing out degrees to students who receive little but woke propaganda in exchange for a huge boost in ego and a steep tuition bill. Harvard University is one of the worst examples of educational rot, which is why it is certainly high time for the federal government to stop sending out taxpayer dollars to the Ivy League loony bin.
In his announcement video about preventing active duty military from doing programs with Harvard in future, Hegseth mentioned how sad it is that a university with ties to the U.S. military going all the way back to 1775 should now be so poisonous as to necessitate severing those ties. He cited Harvard's antisemitism and collaboration with Chinese Communists. Indeed, the former continues to be a prime point of contention between Harvard and the Trump administration.

Harvard is woke; The War Department is not. pic.twitter.com/0kpsvivtsQ
In fact, the obvious example of wokeness is Harvard’s ongoing extreme antisemitism, which is so blatant that Donald Trump raised his lawsuit for damages to $1 billion, and says he wants nothing further to do with the university at the federal level. “Dr. Alan Garber, the President of Harvard, has done a terrible job of rectifying a very bad situation for his institution and, more importantly, America, itself,” Trump stated earlier this week. Violent pro-Hamas, anti-Israel protests became commonplace at Harvard after the Oct. 7 atrocities, and the harassment extended not only to Israelis but to all Jews.
Nor are pro-Hamas riots the only sort of insanity still plaguing Harvard. Last year, Harvard hired Kareem Khubchandani, a Tufts University associate professor of Race, Colonialism, and Diaspora Studies (yes, apparently that is actually a college specialization). Khubchandani performs as a drag queen under the attractive pseudonym of "LaWhore Vagistan," which he claims is a tribute to his Iranian roots — ironic considering he'd likely be executed in Iran.

To return to the point, Harvard not only invited LaWhore Vagistan to teach a class; it invited him to host its Matthiessen Lecture on Feb. 10, called "Auntologies: Queer Aesthetics and South Asian Aunties." Among the individuals to be discussed are Zohran Mamdani and Kamala Harris. And this is what Ivy League education has become now. By the way, tuition and fees at Harvard are around $86,000. Talk about a waste of money.
In December, Harvard canned one of its last Western civilization/history professors, without replacing him. At almost the same time, the university hired a virulently antisemitic divinity school graduate who assaulted an Israeli classmate. Harvard now offers basic algebra remedials to help ignorant students who somehow got accepted to an exclusive private school but can't do seventh grade-level equations.
Bravo to the War Department for cutting off Harvard. Having military officers whom Harvard has brainwashed is a national security threat.
