Multiple terrorist groups have enthusiastically rallied to the cause of the murderous mullahs in Iran, even as Western nations leave the Iranian protestors stranded and at the terrorists’ mercy.
As the largest terror-sponsoring regime in the world, the Iranian dictatorship has a lot of sympathizers among the jihadis who are fanatically dedicated to advancing sharia rule through bullets and fire.
PJ Media's Robert Spencer reported last week at JihadWatch that Iraqi Shi’ite militants were heading to Iran to help the regime crush the protests. The Shi’ites blamed “vile Zionists” for the protests.
Even NewsNation acknowledged that Iraq’s Hashd al-Sha’bi militia was reportedly acting as murderous enforcers on the streets, citing Persian sources. Just as Iran's regime backed Hamas, or Qatar's regime justified and tried to normalize the terrorist group now ruling Syria, we see how Islamic jihadis from multiple countries are helping each other out. For the jihadis, it's not about being Persian or Arab or Syrian -- it's about being fanatically Muslim.
The photos and videos coming out of Iran are unbearable. And yet, I see no campus protests, red carpet pins, bumper stickers, or large scale demonstrations. Indeed, the silence now, is akin to the silence and betrayal felt after October 7. We must stand with the people of Iran. pic.twitter.com/SsqyG3cXqi

The Middle East Media Research Institute (MEMRI) highlighted another terrorist entity gung-ho for Khamanei — Hamas. Since the Iranian regime has long backed Hamas, that's pretty par for the course, however. Hamas's Ahmed Yousuf wrote in Al-Quds Jan. 13 that the Iranian protests were purely economic and had nothing to do with government mismanagement. He entirely blamed Western sanctions. The really disturbing part is that Western media — even some "conservative" outlets — have overwhelmingly used similar false talking points.

Speaking of Westerners doing and saying exactly what jihadis want, Yousuf sneered with satisfaction at the anti-Trump leftist protests in America and spouted false claims against Israel. In a similar vein to Yousuf, Hamas National Relations Department's Ibrahim Al-Madhoun vilified the U.S. and Israel and defended Khamenei's regime, ridiculously claiming that the protests do not represent the opinion of the Iranian people. As for Hamas columnist Fayez Abu Shamala, pal of eliminated terror leader Yahya Sinwar, he urged Iran to bomb Israel, attributing the unrest in Iran to Israeli efforts.
You will note several common themes here, including the fact that the Islamic militants are refusing to acknowledge that living under a Muslim dictatorship is unbearable, an opinion that many Westerners, unfortunately, endorse. But another theme is the emphasis on scapegoating America and Israel. There is a tendency among Americans, even in the Trump administration, to pretend that we can be allies with Islamist dictatorships and that eliminating Iran's regime is not in our direct interests. This is all utterly false.
Islamic regimes like Qatar might make temporary economic or military alliances, but they always side with terrorists who kill Americans in the long run, like al-Qaeda-trained Syrian dictator al-Sharaa. And Iran's regime has been at war with the United States for decades. It supports the terrorists who attack U.S. troops, infiltrates our government institutions, and sends terrorist plants to the USA. Khamanei and co. do everything possible to undermine America economically, militarily, and domestically.
If you know a man by his friends, the same applies to regimes. And the Iranian regime's loyal friends are the worst and most bloodthirsty Islamic terrorists.
