If there is one thing you can count on, it is that Western leftists are going to be thoroughly hypocritical. They will protest on behalf of criminals and terrorists, but not on behalf of actual freedom fighters.
The viral rebuke from an Iranian woman over the highly selective moral outrage and complete double standards of leftists exposes very powerfully just how hollow their “virtue” is and how pharisaical their tears over “oppressed peoples.” The young woman aptly observed, “Our suffering complicates their narrative… they will chant ‘free Palestine’ but they will never say ‘free Iran’ because that would require admitting something unforgivable, that political Islam is not liberation, it is domination.”

She challenged, “Everyone keeps asking the same question over and over: what’s wrong with the leftists? Why are they so noisy, why do they support the Gaza Strip, but remain completely silent when it comes to Iran?” Why, indeed?
For some reason, it is never popular to support victims of Islamic dictatorship. Unfortunately, even Donald Trump appears to be reversing his promise to help the Persian protesters in Iran after pressure from Qatar and other Khamenei-loving Gulf states. There was a lot more pontificating, even from the American right, about Gaza than about Iran. As for the left, they’re on Ayatollah Khamenei’s side as he massacres Persians.
As Iranians filled the streets of Tehran and other cities despite murderous fire from Iranian government terrorists, American leftists filled the streets of many of our major cities to protest the death of would-be killer Renee Good, who committed vehicular assault on an ICE officer to prevent the arrest of foreign sexual predators. It must be heartbreaking for the Persians waiting for the Western aid and empathy that never comes.

I would like to point out another aspect of Democrats’ hypocrisy. Leftists swore that the Capitol events of Jan. 6, 2021, represented the worst “insurrection” in American history. Kamala Harris compared Jan. 6 to Sept. 11 and Pearl Harbor. Sen. Chuck Schumer (D-N.Y.) called it “the day democracy was placed at greater risk than it has been in a century.” Politicians and media outlets called for the harshest of punishments for J6 protesters, and ignored multiple reports of inhumane conditions for J6 prisoners.
Except that Jan. 6 was never an insurrection, and in fact, we now know that literally hundreds of federal agents were embedded in the crowd, rigging and directing and manipulating the event to seem worse than it originally was. Most importantly of all, the only people killed on Jan. 6 were protesters murdered by Capitol police. Yet Democrats repeatedly lied about Capitol police being killed on that day.
I mention this because the activists who decried J6ers are now actively assaulting federal immigration officers and considering themselves heroes for doing so. Dems acclaimed the Capitol police officers who murdered Ashli Babbitt and Rosanne Boyland as heroes. Now they're comparing Homeland Security officers who are arresting murderers to the Gestapo. As with their attitude toward the Iranian protests, Democrats have reality upside down.
There is one commonality between Democrats' opinions on any given protest or political event: Whichever is the most evil and indefensible side, that is the side leftists will join.
