Trans modernist novels. Decolonizing whiteness. Non-binary ghosts. Rallies for terrorists. Segregated graduations. Often events and classes at American universities sound like satire. How did we let our universities, once the most respected in the world, become such jokes?
This is why the Trump administration’s efforts to enact major reform at universities are so important. In fact, we really should cut off federal funding to all universities unless they can prove that they have emphatically rejected the woke ideology that has become an integral part of so many institutions’ curricula and standards. Why should hard-working waiters, construction workers, and factory workers pay taxes so Jaylyn (ze/zim) can assault Jews, protest ICE, and invent genders for four or five or six years?
For example, the University of Virginia’s (UVA) Department of Women, Gender & Sexuality advertised a Dec. 1 lecture about “Narrative Obscurity and Desire for Gender in Trans Modernism.” The only obscurity I notice is why anyone would want to go hear such mumbo-jumbo from a man who dresses like a female freak. From the Instagram post:
Avant-garde literature of the early twentieth century is known for its experiments in narrative form. These experiments have been celebrated by many queer and trans theorists as literary counterparts to antinormative social experiments. As such, modernist representations of trans individuals epitomize, for many critics, the potential for narrative experimentalism to disrupt gender and literary conventions simultaneously. This overlooks how even experimental narrative depictions of gender nonconformity are often invested in the idea of gender as a stabilizing social form
Aaron J. Stone, a “queer and trans studies scholar and narrative theorist,” is going to lecture about a lesbian novel and an LGBTQ novel titled The Young and Evil.

Or what about Oakland University in Michigan, which held a “Transgiving” for “chosen family.” This is a term used by transgender radicals who feel as if their family and friends are not affirming their mental illness enough. They then group together with other transgender ideologues whom they call their chosen family.
The examples are multitudinous. At the University of Louisville, a woke professor was lecturing on “Trans Ghosts and Nonbinary Magical Realism.” Last year, the University of New Mexico in Albuquerque was offering a Fat Studies course. ICE just arrested an illegal immigrant sex offender who was working as a professor of data science and analytics at Ferris State University. The University of Minnesota’s Culture & Family Life Lab came up with this tripe:
Racism is an epidemic (CDC, 2021) that can also be considered a pandemic, given its widespread cross-national prevalence and spread (APA, 2020). However, there is another pandemic lurking behind and driving the racism pandemic – the Whiteness Pandemic. Whiteness refers to culture, not biology: the centuries-old culture of Whiteness features colorblindness, passivity, and White fragility, which are all covert expressions of racism common in the United States.
The Feds should cut off all the federal funds. Parents need to stop paying hundreds of thousands of dollars to send their kids to these propaganda mills. Do we believe that the minds and beliefs of our children and grandchildren are vital to the future of this country? If they are, then universities are trying their hardest to wreck our future.
