Monday, Palestinian terrorists murdered six people, including several rabbis, at a Jerusalem bus stop. Yesterday, Israel conducted a strike against Hamas leaders living luxuriously in terror-sponsoring Qatar, leaders who helped orchestrate the horrific October 7 massacre. And immediately afterwards, naturally, the world rushed to criticize Israel. In fact, a majority of Americans aged 18 to 24 actually support the genocidal terrorist group Hamas in the current conflict.
These are the jihadis who raped women to death, burned babies alive, and kidnapped or gunned down entire families that awful day. Since then, they have tortured Israeli hostages and regularly killed Israeli soldiers and even civilians. The evil men living in Qatar, sheltered by the royal family, were the brains behind these disturbing operations. And still, many Americans support Hamas.
Perhaps that is because Qatar, Hamas’s host, just happens to be the biggest foreign funder of American universities.
A recent Harvard-Harris poll found that a majority of each age group supports Israel and its ongoing war with Hamas — except in the youngest age bracket, the bracket that includes college students. Of the 18 to 24-year-olds, only 40% support Israel, while 60% support Hamas. Again, this is the terror group guilty of the Oct. 7 atrocities, and which has committed itself to wiping Israel off the map and then killing as many other Jews and Christians worldwide as it can.
But the total ignorance of the true nature of Hamas is evident in the fact that 61% of that same young age bracket believes Hamas should release these Israeli hostages (a disturbing 39% say they shouldn’t) or face consequences. This indicates a refusal to acknowledge that Hamas is a demonic jihadi group that never releases hostages unless it has no alternative. A majority of 18 to 24-year-olds (59%) also want Israel to make a deal with Hamas and allow them to remain in power. Qatari money has done its job in brainwashing these young Americans.

All Americans ought to be glad that Israel is willing to stand up to Qatar, considering that Qatar not only hosts Hamas, which it has done for years, but it has supported numerous other terrorist groups and leaders, including ones that have attacked Americans, like HTS’s al-Sharaa, now ruling and massacring in Syria. Furthermore, Qatar has spent many decades buying off our politicians and educational institutions, which explains a lot about the sentiments of a significant chunk of our government and population in favor of the terrorists Qatar backs. Indeed, Qatar-backed groups were even funding the violently antisemitic campus protests here in the U.S.
Qatar has given American universities more than $6 billion over the years, and has been the number one foreign funder of our universities since 1986 at least. The pro-jihad Qatari regime, which also propagandizes Americans and Europeans through its explicitly pro-terror, state-controlled outlet, Al Jazeera, has provided vastly more money to universities than Communist China — and Communist China has done a great deal of damage in our educational system.
But for some reason, Qatar’s influence is not so well known. Neither do many Americans realize that federal government officials and congressmen have received payouts from Qatar. Indeed, Qatar gave Donald Trump a jet and an investment deal, which might explain why he was angry that Israel — by far our greatest ally in the Middle East and, unlike Qatar, trying to preserve Jewish and Christian civilization — is trying to take out the Hamas leaders in Doha who have been planning the deaths of Israelis for many years, with Qatar’s help. Even good politicians are susceptible to that sort of influence, but hopefully, Trump will soon return to his usual whole-hearted support for Israel.
Qatar has been backing the terrorists who scream “death to America and Israel” for years, while it also poisons our educational system, so I don’t know why on Earth we would think we can trust them. In fact, no Muslim regime in history has ever truly made peace with Jews and Christians, because their religion does not allow it. The modern pro-Islamic jihad movement in America is most definitely a product of Qatari funding and propaganda, and that is a serious crisis that we will need to address.
