Chinese Communists Outraged at Tariff Accountability for Fentanyl Crisis

The Chinese Communist Party (CCP) is in a lather about Donald Trump's raising tariffs on it. The tariffs aim at bringing manufacturing back to America and punishing the CCP for fueling our deadly fentanyl crisis. Don’t believe the Commie propaganda; the CCP is absolutely behind the opioid crisis in America, which boomed under Biden’s open borders.

If CCP state propaganda outlet Global Times is any guide — and it is an official government mouthpiece — the CCP is furious at Trump’s new tariff hike.

“Citing fentanyl as the reason, U.S. government announced on Thursday it would hit goods from China with a new 10 percent tariff from March 4 [on top of previous 10% tariff hike]. This policy is the latest manifestation of the absurd logic that China is responsible for America’s fentanyl problem. But this is the way of the world’s superpower: shift the blame onto others rather than taking responsibility itself,” Global Times screeched.

Global Times also quoted a CCP Public Security Ministry spokesman blathering, “China urges the U.S. to correct its erroneous practices, maintain the hard-won positive situation in China-U.S. drug control cooperation, and return to the right path that benefits the people of both countries.”

The CCP is currently engaging in harsh political and religious persecution, not to mention mass incarceration and genocide of Uyghurs in unspeakably brutal circumstances, and is also pontificating on the “cruelty” of the U.S. deporting dangerous criminal illegal aliens. But it’s whining that “the U.S. itself used tear gas to drive away illegal migrants, shackles deportees with handcuffs, leg irons, and even waist chains.”

Now let’s discuss the CCP’s shackling, forced sterilization, rape, torture, and murder of innocent civilians in Xinjiang, shall we? The CCP is currently trying to stem the international condemnation triggered by Thailand handing over 40+ Uyghurs to CCP authorities, pretending they just wanted to reunite “Chinese nationals” with their families.

The Heritage Foundation released a damning video this month undercutting the assertions of the CCP about fentanyl, too.

“Every day, over 200 Americans lose their lives to fentanyl, a synthetic opioid that brings to the U.S. an annual death toll that surpasses the total U.S. casualties from the Vietnam War. This crisis is not just a tragic accident, it’s a deliberate act fueled by the Chinese Communist Party with the aid of deadly Mexican cartels,” Heritage explained. “Evidence uncovered by the Select Committee on the Chinese Communist Party reveals that the CCP is actively subsidizing the production and export of fentanyl precursors to Mexican drug cartels, and ultimately, the United States.”

Heritage also included clips of congressmen discussing the crisis, including Select CCP Committee chair Rep. John Moolenaar (R-Mich.), who said, “We have to recognize that this is an intentional poisoning of Americans, and we need it to stop.”

Ultimately, as Heritage described, “The impact on American communities is devastating. Families are torn apart, and lives are lost every single day. Unfortunately, the United States [under Biden and Harris] has failed to confront the foreign enablers of the fentanyl crisis, leaving the American people to shoulder the burden.”

Finally, under Trump, the U.S. is fighting back, with the cartels now designated as terrorist organizations and new tariffs on China, not to mention deportations and border security crackdowns.

“The United States does not have to be a helpless victim of this weaponized drug crisis,” Heritage said. “It can, and must, confront the transnational criminal networks and protect the trade, financial, and healthcare systems of the United States. That starts with holding the Chinese Communist Party and Mexico’s cartels accountable for their role in America’s fentanyl crisis.”

The Trump administration understands the gravity of the crisis and is taking action accordingly against our number one enemy, the CCP.
