The Great Replacement Chronicles: The Lynching of Jason Arday

Antonio Perez/Chicago Tribune via AP

Archiving the “strange death of Europe,” as Douglas Murray put it, and the West more broadly, at the hands of the neoliberal technocracy.

Every so often, when the opportunity presents itself, progressive social engineers take a stab at reigniting the previously unparalleled Western passion for racial justice after St. George overdosed on the street in Minneapolis in 2020 — an otherwise everyday occurrence in blue cities that might have gone unremarked upon save for the white man (literal Satan) trying to subdue him.

Against that backdrop, you might be aware of the recent unfortunate passing, presumably by his own hand, of a serial fabulist, plagiarist, former Cambridge professor, and DEI icon called Jason Arday after he got outed as a fraud.

And not a minor fraud who embellished his resume once or twice — a prolific liar who lied about nearly every aspect of his personal experience, all to great acclaim from progressives for his bravery and stunningness.

Despite absolutely no evidence of foul play in his death, and his well-deserved ousting from academia, Social Justice™ crusaders, as they are wont to do, laid it on extra-thick.

None other than the paragon of DEIism himself, never one to miss the spotlight, one Ibram X. Kendi, ran yesterday an obituary ambitiously titled “The Media Lynched Jason Arday.”

Via The Emancipator (emphasis added):

The death Friday of Jason Arday, a 41-year-old Black scholar who resigned from the University of Cambridge after waves of attacks over the last few weeks, hits close to home…

To be a prominent antiracist Black scholar is to know you are a target, almost totally surrounded by resentments.

Prominence is relative. You can be prominent at your university, in your field, in your local community, in your nation, across oceans.

As a prominent Black scholar, you know the attacks haunt and hunt you like a lynch mob.

And then, one day, the attacks are at your door.

The attacks are wielded by racist propagandists, resenting you for shining a light on anti-Black racism. They hope everyone finally picks up their baseless claims. They know that to dim your light is to dim the light on their anti-Blackness.

The attacks come from centrist and progressive White scholars and writers, resenting your positions and honors and pay. They believe the great replacement theory that you’ve taken their spots*, their honors, their money, like the followers of Donald Trump and Nigel Farage…

But when in memory have Black people been treated first and foremost as human beings?...

The White-owned, mainstream media doesn’t investigate the problem: those attackers bent on your “downfall,” believing as you fall, they will rise…

The media will bury its culpability while we bury Jason.

I hope he finally receives what we have never received as prominent Black scholars: peace.

*Fact check: absolutely true.

No justice, no peace!

Ibrahim was far and away not alone in the tsunami of unhinged hyperbole, all in the poorly veiled service of trying to get another race war started.

Kehinde Andrews, professor of black studies at Birmingham City University in the UK and a personal friend of the departed, appeared on Channel 4 News to make similar accusations of a “lynching,” curiously omitting any pertinent details, such as that Arday very likely killed himself.

“If he was white, he’d still be alive,” Andrews adds.

Which, in a way, is true: were Arday white, he never would’ve gotten hired at Cambridge in the first place on account of his mediocrity, thereby averting the entire existential crisis of exposure as a fraud.
