We have always branded Bill Clinton a liar, at least about sex, and probably other things. But the amazing scoop by Breitbart.com today makes Obama one up on Bill. In all likelihood, the president will say that he never saw the information from his literary agents claiming he was born in Kenya. But as the author of 11 books, I can say that in EVERY instance that I have been published, I have seen such material in advance. It could be that Obama is the exception, but that is highly unlikely.
In other words, we have in the White House a man willing to bend his national identity for profit. Pretty cool! (He’s supposed to be cool, isn’t he? Well that’s as cool as it gets.)
In a few minutes, I will be interviewing Jack Cashill. Some time ago, Mr. Cashill wrote for the American Thinker that Bill Ayers wrote or rewrote Dreams From My Father, the Obama “memoir” that is at issue here. It will be interesting to see what Mr. Cashill has to say on PJTV, because this new revelation from Breitbart adds great credence to his theory.

Yes, yes he is.
Asking if Obama is a pathological liar (especially after three years) is like highly educated adults very seriously questioning if the Sun might perhaps be hot, or whether dogs bark, or asking where babies come from. It seems somehow a little weird and creepy to be that lost and out of it.
For three years it has been utterly and painfully obvious that Obama is a relentless, shameless, pathological liar. He lies morning, noon and night. He lies seven days a week. He tells small lies and large lies. He tell subtle lies and gross lies. Nearly not a single sentence that passes his lips is true. His lying is relentless – it never, ever stops. He lies even knowing that he is being video-taped, and knowing that he was video-taped yesterday emphatically saying the precise opposite statement, in front of several hundred people.
I have been completely baffled as to why every conservative media outlet has not emphatically stated this plainly obvious fact on a daily basis, beginning before Obama obtained the Democratic nomination, and continuing to this day.

By the way, that the founders did not specify a definition of “natural born” citizenship might appear to have been an oversight; in fact, they seem to have operated under the assumption that it was obvious. The one contemporary definition of “natural born” citizenship comes from a document well-known and referenced at the time, de Vattel’s Law of Nations circa 1758 Book 1, Chapter XIX, § 212: “The natives, or natural-born citizens, are those born in the country, of parents who are citizens.”

Birth on US soil is not required. Citizenship at the time of birth (as opposed to naturalizaton later in life) is what is required.

The Constitutions say “Natural Born” because as usual our founders were wise beyond their years. It MUST remain this way to allow Citizenship rights to those born overseas to parentS of US Citizenship that may be fulfilling military duty requirements overseas for an example.

No, if he were actually born in Kenya, then Kenyan laws would prevail. His mother was only 18. She would have to have been 19 for Barry to qualify as dual-citizen. Kenya was British colony then. If Barry were actually born there, he would be British citizen completely.
There is a process to claiming American citizenship, but of course, Barry never did such a thing. And even if he had, he would be ineligible to be President.
Do I believe he was born there? Probably not. I think that was just a claim by his Aunt or whomever to lay a greater claim on him for her homeland or somesuch.
Did he get adopted by his Stepfather Soetoro? Possibly. Custom makes it seem likely. Did he regain citizenship? Seems not. How else was he allowed to travel to Pakistan, at a time when it was off-limits for Americans? How else did he qualify for his colleges?
The important thing is that he did not really grow up in this country. He is culturally a foreigner, and his Presidency reflects that. This is exactly why the Founders put in the natural-born citizen requirement. It should have been thoroughly investigated. We cannot casually shrug off laws, and certainly cannot do so with constitutional requirements. This thing needs to be defined in the future, and rigorously enforced, so that this never can happen again.

At any rate I don’t remember anyone arguing that Obama could not be a natural born citizen because only one parent was a citizen. It would have been a pretty open and such case if what you’re saying is true – but it wasn’t, was it?
No, you would be wrong. Under current and past laws the POTUS MUST be a ‘Natural Born Citizen’. Therein is implied some ideas:
- Both parents must be born in the USA (Natural Born Citizens) if and only if the child is born outside of the US and you MUST be able to prove it. IOW, you must show that your parents via officially issued Birth Certificates were born in the US.
- OR you can show the person was born in the US AND that the parents are citizens. IOW, one or more of the parents can be nationalized citizens with the child born in the US.
No other conditions apply to one born in the period from the ’50s to, I believe, 1964.
I was hatched in 1952 to two natural born citizens in the Mexico City. When it was time to join the US Army, dear old Dad was nowhere to be found. They wanted me to prove the above conditions existed to enlist. I could not. So, Mom worked for a Federal Judge and knew another Federal District Judge who agreed to expedite my needed naturalization since I could not find Dad. Judge B. explained, in a long conversation, the implications of my choice to include the above facts. That stayed with me all these years. I could recover “Natural Born” status if I could in the future find Dad. I rightly did not think that I would need the information in that I never expected to run for POTUS.
Until BO came along it was just the story of my life to bore the kids with and then it took on another dimension. Gets me dubbed a birther in some circles. But from what a sitting Federal District Judge told me, BO is not eligible because he is not Natural born because his parents, BOTH of them, were not citizens.

If it is true that both parents must be citizens regardless of being born on American soil then I can’t think of any satisfactory explanation as to why no one in any news media I’m aware of ever brought it up. It is highly unlikely this document is the first time BO or his advocates claimed “foreigner” status. This dovetails with my long held belief regarding why his college records and other personal records have not been released. At various times during his college career (and maybe high school) BO and his family claimed he was a foreigner in order to gain financial aid and other advantages. As we have seen with the Liz Warren episode universities are willing to believe anything if the belief supports their agenda.

Even if he claims he didn’t see this material, and even if his agent claims it was her doing, the question remains why? What prompted her to make up that he was born in Kenya? It’s not the sort of thing one makes up out of the blue knowing it to be untrue. Did she or the author of the promo bio think he was born in Kenya? What made her/him think that? Was it perhaps in that abandoned original manuscript that Obama started to write? Did he claim in those early pages that he was born in Kenya? It’s just conjecture, but it sure is hard to figure out why else it would be in the promo material.

Construct 1.3 had Obama display Kenya as a birthplace because it fitted the game at that time. I believe he was born in Hawaii but where he was actually born didn’t become relevant for the construct until he ran for President. Therefore construct 2.0 displayed an American birthplace for Obama. Construct 2.1 displays support for gay marriage and so on.
Since a construct by definition is independent from reality, a construct can’t really lie. Each update of the construct simply displays a new story to fit the current state of the political game.
