One of Andrew Breitbart’s most endearing habits: when angry progressives sent their hatred his way he retweeted it for all his followers to see.
Andrew argued that we needed to show everyone the nature of the people working to destroy America. With that insight in mind, this post will serve as a continually-updated collection of the disgusting reactions to his death.

I’ve long believed in the value of not speaking ill of the dead. When Kim Jong Il died I posted an essay called “And So It Goes.” It ran 114 words and the bulk of them were devoted to a critique of the AP Obituary characterization of Il as “mercurial and enigmatic.” I suggested that was comparable to calling Ted Bundy well-traveled. It may be true, but it doesn’t exactly get to the point.
Andrew Breitbart didn’t share this belief, and when Ted Kennedy died he proved it by piling on in his Twitter account. I suppose what I’m saying is graceless behavior is wrong regardless of which side of the aisle originates. The foul-mouthed, hateful, and surprisingly homophobic comments of the left are so characteristic as to not merit disappointment, and certainly not shock. To say Breitbart brought it on himself, is closer to the truth. I suspect, wherever he is, he is looking down with amusement at the infantile left’s comments, his only regret being his inability to Retweet them.
Andrew Breitbart, R.I.P. You had a good ride, albeit a brief one.

Nothing like tragic death typifies the immorality, emptiness and viciousness of the Left. And it will once again be on display as it has been for years, from Andrew Breitbart’s young death being ridiculed, to that orgy of Paul Wellstone’s public funeral, a scene straight from the days of Caligula.
I’ve always contended you want to measure the character of a man, observe three things: (1) How he treats his mom; (2) The kind of woman he is married to; (3) who his enemies are.
Can’t speak to the first two, but Andrew Breitbart appears solid with respect to the third.

He will be sorely missed. And the best way to honor him is to continue his work, which is to say we must maintain the pressure on the Left, keep exposing their hypocrisy and shine the light on them like the cockroaches they are.

Per the comments about Breitbart being a “cancer” on society, or humans getting rid of another angry person (the commenter sounds angry lol), well I have to say these pathetic, evil, malicious slimeballs should rid the world of cancer, anger, etc by wasting themselves. When a human being dies, I pray for their family and friends regardless of their political orientation.

When somebody dies, there’s a certain mourning period where you refrain from slander. That’s why a lot of stuff said about Whitney was really distasteful, regardless of how you judged her lifestyle. And being glad someone is dead is tacky, I don’t care who it is.

Actually, I would celebrate Chomsky’s death. He has caused more harm to this country than just about anyone except perhaps Howard Zinn. Their propaganda has had an inordinate influence on young people.

Breitbart either has bigger problems than what people are writing about him or is absolutely in peace. His family is for whom I mourn today. My father passed away when I was 15.. his kids are so young. Thankfully, it sounds like they have two good grandfathers to help them though.
I echo others thoughts: Today is the day to strengthen our resolve and fight as Andrew would.
I used to believe that the political divide was mostly a function of well-meaning people having differing ideas on how we can best work towards a better society for all.
But I’ve watched liberals for long enough to know that that was childish naivete’ on my part. Wanting to see some decency in everyone simply leaves you at the mercy of those without decency.
Andrew’s life was an inspiration to many of us. His far-too-early passing is simply a quiet heartbreak. But leave it to Andrew to save his greatest feat of exposing the mindless vacuity and moral degradation of the left for last.
The disgusting and subhuman reaction to his death from these vile, vile people is going to provide many of us with a much-needed kick in the butt to get out there and do whatever we can do – and I do mean whatever we can do – to ensure that we never again allow such human garbage as these pathetic parasites of liberalism a role in choosing our country’s path.

The tapes showed exactly what Breitbart said they did, that before the exculpatory remarks, the NAACP audience was fine with her unredeemed (at that point) comments. They were so sure it showed exactly what he said it did, they fired her immediately because they knew it was true, and they wanted distance.

Andrew Breitbart was a controversial figure, and there’s bound to be a lot of negative comment when he passes. Frankly I’m surprised how *few* public figures have said anything nasty about him, and how many have said more or less positive or at least polite things. Just gathering everyone’s tweets and so forth and making a list like this leaves one to believe that the left is full of vicious evil bastards…but of course if you’re on the left, you can find thousands of messages asking why Obama hasn’t been put back in chains and made to pick cotton, etc. In both cases it’s a small proportion of the actual group, but it can be made to sound like a lot, because of the volume level.
