Was Obama Himself the First Birther?
In case you haven’t seen it, here’s a screencap of the top of the Drudge Report as of the time of this post. The link on the headline takes you to a post at Breitbart.com written by Joel B. Pollack and titled “The Vetting — Exclusive — Obama’s Literary Agent in 1991 Booklet: ‘Born in Kenya and raised in Indonesia and Hawaii.’” The article itself begins with a “Note from Senior Management” that cautions the reader, “Andrew Breitbart was never a ‘Birther,’ and Breitbart News is a site that has never advocated the narrative of ‘Birtherism:’”
In fact, Andrew believed, as we do, that President Barack Obama was born in Honolulu, Hawaii, on August 4, 1961.
Yet Andrew also believed that the complicit mainstream media had refused to examine President Obama’s ideological past, or the carefully crafted persona he and his advisers had constructed for him.
It is for that reason that we launched “The Vetting,” an ongoing series in which we explore the ideological background of President Obama (and other presidential candidates)–not to re-litigate 2008, but because ideas and actions have consequences.
It is also in that spirit that we discovered, and now present, the booklet described below–one that includes a marketing pitch for a forthcoming book by a then-young, otherwise unknown former president of the Harvard Law Review.
It is evidence–not of the President’s foreign origin, but that Barack Obama’s public persona has perhaps been presented differently at different times.
The article goes on to note that “Breitbart News has obtained a promotional booklet produced in 1991 by Barack Obama’s then-literary agency, Acton & Dystel, which touts Obama as ‘born in Kenya and raised in Indonesia and Hawaii.’”
Ace (who also reminds readers that he’s not a birther, either. For the record, neither are we) notes that Obama himself was likely the source of the copy in the screencap above, which is also presented in numerous other scans in the Brietbart.com article.
While it’s true that bios are often not written by the subject, the information in the bio must come from somewhere — and the obvious place to get such information is the subject himself.
I’ve been asked to write these myself — and in fact I owe someone one right now — and while they may be rewritten and edited, the guy asking you for the bio wants the basic information. He doesn’t want to go researching stuff which you can provide for him in 40 seconds.
So it seems very likely this came from Obama. Where else would Obama’s birthplace have come from? In 1991, Obama had not yet written his two (ahem) memoirs. He was not a famous man.
So, why did Obama say this?
Hey, it probably played well at the time, an early example of Jim Geraghty’s recurring theme that all of Obama’s statements have expiration dates on them. And so do Obama’s previous names, another way that he has altered the way he presented himself to the world at various times.
All of which dovetails into the question that Roger L. Simon asks at the Tatler: “Is Obama a Pathological Liar?”
We have always branded Bill Clinton a liar, at least about sex, and probably other things. But the amazing scoop by Breitbart.com today makes Obama one up on Bill. In all likelihood, the president will say that he never saw the information from his literary agents claiming he was born in Kenya. But as the author of 11 books, I can say that in EVERY instance that I have been published, I have seen such material in advance. It could be that Obama is the exception, but that is highly unlikely.
In other words, we have in the White House a man willing to bend his national identity for profit. Pretty cool! (He’s supposed to be cool, isn’t he? Well that’s as cool as it gets.)
Speaking of playing well during his college days, placing that 1991 bio into context also helps to explain what drives the Birthers, something that Mark Steyn discussed last year in his book After America:
With hindsight, this is what drove both the birthers and the countering cries of racism. Detractors and supporters alike were trying to explain something that was at first vaguely palpable and then became embarrassingly obvious: it’s not so much that he’s foreign to America, but that America is foreign to him. Outside the cloisters of Hyde Park and a few other enclaves, he doesn’t seem to get America. Not because he was born in Kenya or wherever, but because he’s the first president to be marinated his entire life in a post-modern, post-American cultural relativism. What’s worrying about Obama is not that he’s weird but that he’s so typical of much of the Eloi [Steyn's recurring H.G. Wells-inspired leitmotif in After America for the pampered elite -- Ed]; in that sense, his post-Americanness is all too American.
In both Chicago’s Ward Four, where the Obamas lived, and Ward Five, where they worked, 95 percent of electors voted Democrat in 2004. You would be hard put to find another constituency so committed to celebrating lack of diversity. Like most professional multiculturalists, Obama has passed his entire adulthood in a very narrow unicultural environment where your ideological worldview doesn’t depend on anything so tedious as actually viewing the world. The aforementioned Michael Ignatieff, who actually has viewed the world, gets close to the psychology in his response to criticisms of him for spending so much time abroad. Deploring such “provincialism,” he replied: “They say it makes me less of a Canadian. It makes me more of a Canadian.”
And how better to sound cool and exotic to Harvard’s professors (many of whom likely share the same punitive liberal worldview of America that Obama has marinated in much of his life) than to claim you weren’t born in America?

An author born in colonial Kenya sounds more worldly at first blush than one born in Honolulu, just as a law professor who’s 1/32 Cherokee sounds more in tune with the minority experience in America than a white woman from Oklahoma. Beyond that, though, this is a story about the media: I’d bet cash money that some reporter somewhere stumbled upon this booklet in years past and politely suppressed the info rather than do the journalist’s job of asking questions and finding out why the mistake in the booklet was made. The alternative, that the media was so uninterested in O’s background that they never checked his professional listings, is grimly possible, but I’m skeptical. I think this is a case where someone probably heard about the booklet and ignored it in order to play gatekeeper so that the Birthers couldn’t exploit the information. That’s what the press has come to when the subject is Obama’s background.

According to archive.org, a website that caches websites on a regular basis, [AKA The Internet Archieve Wayback Machine -- Ed] the Dystel.com website – the official website for Dystel & Goderich, Obama’s literary agents – was using the Barack Obama “born in Kenya” language until April 2007, just two months after then-Senator Obama declared his campaign for the presidency.

Shapiro writes that apparently, sometime later in April of 2007, Obama’s bio at Dystel was revised to state that he was born in Hawaii. Speaking of the Wayback Machine, a commenter at Hot Air links to a 2004 Associated Press article archived there from the Nairobi-Kenya Standard and notes, “This has been around for a long time. But most people assumed it was a one-off error: Kenyan-born Obama all set for US Senate.” Here’s its lede:
Kenyan-born US Senate hopeful, Barrack Obama, appeared set to take over the Illinois Senate seat after his main rival, Jack Ryan, dropped out of the race on Friday night amid a furor over lurid sex club allegations.
Snopes, the left-leaning veteran fact-checking Website has a 2009 article debunking this article; one can only imagine how crazy they’re going there today.
Similarly, Obama’s former literary agent has decided to do one last bit of damage control today for her old client:
Miriam Goderich issued the following statement to Political Wire:
“You’re undoubtedly aware of the brouhaha stirred up by Breitbart about the erroneous statement in a client list Acton & Dystel published in 1991 (for circulation within the publishing industry only) that Barack Obama was born in Kenya. This was nothing more than a fact checking error by me — an agency assistant at the time. There was never any information given to us by Obama in any of his correspondence or other communications suggesting in any way that he was born in Kenya and not Hawaii. I hope you can communicate to your readers that this was a simple mistake and nothing more.”
But one they kept making for 16 years. Still though, nice of Goderich to take the fall herself. As Mark Steyn likes to quip:
When the British Prime Minister Harold Macmillan dumped some of his closest cabinet colleagues to extricate himself from a political crisis, the Liberal leader Jeremy Thorpe responded: “Greater love hath no man than to lay down his friends for his life.”
And the wheels of the bus go ’round and ’round.

Either Obama was born in Kenya or he wasn’t. I remain skeptical that he was. The question is, then: Why did he claim to be? What advantage did he think it gave him at the time?

Okay. This has definitely been a bad week for Obama.
Granted, that statement was back in 1991. So did the literary agent screw up or did Obama give him that statement?
Would Obama have never noticed the error in all those years and asked for a correction? That seems highly unlikely. It’s kind of a big error to just let go.

To presume that Barry Soetero, AKA Barack HUSSEIN Obama ( now where IS that name change documentation last time I saw it it was with my VAULT BC), was not aware of the fact that he was being described as KENYA born, and thus UNQUALIFIED for being President, is to presume that he had no control or say in what was being written about him. Where on earth did the story come from ‘THIN AIR” no of course not the author of that MUST have been given that information either from Obama or someone close to him. Why INVENT something like that there was absolutely no reason whatsoever to do so at that time. It was only when he, or his HANDLERS, started to get ideas about a Presidential run that documents got “LOST” and became HIDDEN and the SPIN really started and History was REWRITTEN.

Now it has become a mystery, one that is hard to unwind. “Natural born” is ambiguous, but a lie is a lie and this lie lies in the bushes desparate to be exposed and examined.

There’s a perfectly reasonable explanation for those willing to see it. Back in 1991, Barack had been born in Kenya. As of 2008 and ever since, however, he has been born in Hawaii. Those who are unwilling to accept this are reductivist in their perceptions of what it means to be born in a given locale.
He was born in Kenya. But he ascended into heaven and then was resurrected and was born again in Hawaii. He’s a Born Again something or other. When you are all things to all people, like the Messiah, you can be in all places simultaneously. His birth was astroplaned in Hawaii. If you can figure all that out, please get back to me. ASAP.

Don’t forget the film of Michelle’s public visit to Kenya a couple of yrs back. First, Barack Hussein’s aunt stated (I’m paraphrasing) into the microphone, “He was born in that shack right over there” while pointing to the shack. The Michelle said the same thing.

That plus the document that “proved” he was born in Hawaii, and the news entertainment industry’s treatment of what sure looks like a forgery, should be enough for anyone, maybe even for a non-racist African-American voter, to question his birthplace.
But what’s it matter? Little if not at all. For decades now the U.S. Constitution has been a guideline, not the law of the land. It’s been accepted as a living document, which is an ambitious way of saying the thing’s dead. The good Sheriff in AZ should talk like that. Cuz the reason the fraud must continue is that it’s unthinkable to think that he could be removed.
The Constitution is a daid letter, except for occasional use as a general reference guideline.
The Breitbart site protests too much, affirming that Obama was born in Honolulu. They might be simply afraid. Afraid for their lives. They should take him at his (pre-election) word: he wasn’t.

Remember when Saddam Hussein was driven from power, and Eason Jordan wrote his notorious op-ed The News We Kept To Ourselves? I’m starting to wonder if, once Barack Obama is safely out of office, there will be a torrent of similar stories coming from the American media — stories spiked because of intimidation, threats and worse.

Obama admits to being raised in an observant Muslim houseld for the years he lived in Indonesia. Therefore, he would know that dogs are considered unclean like pigs and that no Muslim would even think of eating one. Yet his book says he did and he did not deny the story even when being mocked for it during the recent attacks on Romney for putting his dog on the roof of his car. However, Bill Ayers might not have known about the status of canine burgers under Islam.
geokstr you obviously know a little bit about Islam but nothing at all about Indonesia. Islam in Indonesia is still closely associated with their previous Hinduism and Buddhism and also with Animism. Dog is eaten widely in Indonesia and is considered a ‘medical’ aid . It is not uncommon for a self describing and Muslims practicing such as Lolo Soetero to also still retain some of the ‘OLD’ faith and belief in Animism and Dog Eating.
Another interesting thing this week is when Obama said races were always tight when your name is “Barack Hussein Obama” on the View. No, Mr. President. Our criticism has nothing to do with your name, your race, or where you were born. Your policies, leadership, and ideology are the problem. There is no need for conservatives to go “birther”.

It’s almost custom-built for Breitbart since it’s a superb test of how much the MSM will ignore and/or bury it. “Oh, that’s just some birther nonsense, nothing to see here …” I seriously doubt Obama will ever field a question about it.

I’m so sick and tired of listening to everyone twist themselves into pretzels trying to avoid the “birther” moniker. For crying out loud, the birth certificate he finally produced was a joke and the evidence is overwhelmingly weighted on the side of him being born outside the US. This just adds a few more pounds to the right side of the scale.

Well, if Roger Simon now believes that Cashill is vindicated, he should go back and read Corsi and also the affidavit of Douglas Vogt which can be found at ScribD.com regarding Obama’s ‘birth certificate’. It is true that the affidavit is somewhat technical but it shouldn’t be too hard for a writer of detective stories.
I have been quite amazed that the conservative blogs have been reluctant to seriously address this issue. I cannot believe that any good investigative reporter would not be convinced by the evidence and analysis that Douglas Vogt presents. I can only imagine that neither Breitbart nor PJTV nor National Review Online nor any of the other conservative blogsites have read the affidavit. And so I ask: Why haven’t you? Is it because you were afraid to be labeled kooks?
Douglas Vogt, a man with a strong background in document processing, clearly and carefully steps one through all the irregularities in the document which individually and cumulatively indicate that the ‘birth certificate’ released by the White House in April 2011 is not a simple scan of an original document as claimed, but rather a rather sloppily created forgery and thus a fraudulent document.
Now that Breitbart.com and PJ Media are willing to recognize that Obama has been prevaricating about his place of birth, you should all take the next step and recognize that he has been prevaricating about the paperwork associated with that birth.
Barack Hussein Obama (aka Barry Soetoro, Harrison J. Bounel)was adopted by Soetoro , his step-father and had to become an Indonesian citizen as a requirement to attend school in Indonesia at that time. Obama is a dual citizen and thus cannot meet the requirement to be a “natural born Citizen” thus he usurped the office of POTUS. Obama went to college as a “foreign student.” He did not need a Selective Service registration as a “foreign student.” When he decided that he wanted to enter the world of politics his enablers (Ayers/Axelrod) realized that in order to run for public office one needed to be registered with the selective service, Obama wasn’t registered so he had to fraudulently register, thus the “08″ and the “80″ switcherrooh that Sheriff Joe Arpaio and others on is investigative team discovered and reported at their first Press Conference on March 1st, 2012 plus presented proof of a forged birth certificate. The Selective Service fraud was an easy bust. The Selective Service is presently hurrying to cover their tracks with policies being rushed into place that would enable them to destroy the “hard” evidence that Sheriff Joe Arpaio asked for a couple of months ago. They are stonewalling!!
Barack Hussein Obama is neck deep in scandal. Nixon is a saint when compared to this scandal. This scandal will eventually turn into the Constitutional crisis of the Century.

Some conservative pundits steer clear of these issues. They say that there is no point in debating his eligibility any longer as he is de facto the president. That is a copout. It is not just a question of Obama’s eligibility. He has usurped the office of President of the US, and he has thereby established a precedent – a very dangerous precedent. Unless we out all his nefarious doings, we cannot protect ourselves against the possibility of the same thing happening again.
Secondly, it is absolutely necessary to show his total reprehensibility and criminality. He knew he was not eligible. He knew that he was producing a forgery. He knew he was covering up some things in his past that he knew that if the American people knew they would never vote him into office. That is fraud at the minimum.
Thirdly, this caper demonstrates how vulnerable this country is to a takeover. Noone tried to deceive the electorate in such a fundamental way before. We assumed that noone would. We were wrong. It is only with a complete airing of all the crimes this man committed and a full discussion that we will be able to implement legislation and whatever else is needed to protect ourselves in the future.
At the same time, it is necessary to have a full discussion of the threat of radical Islam (which this man is protecting) and to implement legislation and whatever else is needed to protect ourselves. Radical Islam also wants to take over this country by stealth.
This election is not just about the economy. It is about protecting the Constitution and the way of life in these United States of America. And to do that it is absolutely necessary to educate the nation about the deception it was subject to.
It was not possible to shame Clinton. It will probably not be possible to shame Obama. But at least, as a nation, we can and should repudiate him.
It seems to be a chronic problem with lefty politicians… Lizzie Warren conveniently remembers native American relatives just when it might help her employment prospects, Barack Obama was born in Kenya when it might help him sell books and born in Hawaii when being born in Kenya might not help him become president, John Kerry can’t remember what state he lives in when it comes to docking his yacht, etc, etc.
I matriculated at, and graduated from Harvard College. At Harvard, we were aware of how geographically diverse its student body was. Even when I attended Harvard in the 1970s, there were far more applicants than places available in each new freshman class. The admissions committee could pick and choose as they wished. Beginning in the 1950s, Harvard made a concerted effort to move away from being a predominantly New England college and university to being a national and international meritocratic one. (Although, I recall that in the 1970s, fully one quarter of each freshman college class was from New England.) I assume that the Harvard Law School admission goals were similar.
Assuming two perfect applicants to Harvard, whether the college or the law school, the applicant from North Dakota will often gain acceptance over the applicant from New York, assuming the New York applicant is not from a Harvard legacy family or is not a nationally recognized athlete. The same applies to two applicants, let us say, from Hawaii and from Kenya. The applicant from Kenya will often be given preference over the applicant from Hawaii.
Setting aside whether Obama is a narcissist or a pathological liar, he is, at the very least, an opportunist. Looking at the bean counting, affirmative action, let’s assemble an eclectic mix of students, mind-set of the admissions committee to Harvard Law School—-Barry Soetoro or Barack Obama was going to be a Kenyan, or an Indonesian, and not a mere American.
Barry is and will always be whatever the current circumstances require him to be. Barry is a chameleon, or should I say, a lizard. Whatever he is, he is definitely, cold-blooded.
I matriculated at the school of hard knocks, just a Joe Six Pack kind of father, husband, grandfather (veteran) and have a nasty habit of applying a little common sense every now and then. When a man signs an Executive Oder the day after being sworn into office locking away all access to his personal records and then proceeds to spend more than a million dollars of his own money to prevent anyone from seeing his birth certificate I know from that point on no one should ever trust him with the nuclear football. Does this pass the smell test for a Harvard grad?
When I know that a man is 50% White and 43% Arab I tend to sit back and ask my self how in the world does that compute to “our first black President.” Does that leave a bad taste in your Harvard mouth or did you just fall for the MSM biggest hoax in American history?
I remember my draft card and many of my friends draft cards, some of us still have them and they all have FOUR digits in the slot for YEAR. How come Barack Hussein Obama (aka Barry Soetoro, Harrison J. Bounel) has TWO digits. Now we find out that people who registered a day before Obama’s supposed registration had FOUR digits, the people who registered a day after Obama had FOUR digits and Obama’s draft card has TWO digits for the year he registered. Does a Harvard grad smell forgery? The life long investigators with 100′s of years of combined law enforcement experience smell forgery so much so that they have moved their investigation from “probable cause” to “criminal” investigation.
To top it all off Tony this son of a ‘RICH’( well tell me where all the money to put him in to those prestigious EXPENSIVE Hawaii schools and Colleges came from?) WHITE mother, who did not want him which was why he lived with his WHITE Grandparents, and a Black KENYAN who was genetically mainly ARAB and a little bit Black father who was also an Alcoholic, Abesentee, Bigamous, Undesirable Alien and whose ARAB ancestry connected him to African SLAVE TRADERS. So what has Obambi got in common with most African Americans why ABSOLUTELY NOTHING WHATSOEVER. Except the accident of his pigmentation and THAT and THAT alone is why they vote for him RACISTLY.

Barack Obama uses words to achieve his ends. He has no compulsion nor desire and feels no obligation for his words to adhere to anything the rest of us would recognize as “truth.” Words are just a means to an end.
The only time Barack Obama speaks anything like the truth is when he is caught off-guard, tired or frustrated beyond his capacity to prevaricate. Which is rare because his capacity for prevarication is near-infinite. But it has happened. He has spoken truth a few times in his life by accident.
The fact that most Americans are either willfully or constitutionally unable to recognize what kind of man they have put in the White House is as clear an indication that I can think of that the great American experiment is almost done.
A nation that would elect this man to “lead” them has nowhere left to go.

I think the most plausible answer is he pulled a Liz Warren or a Ward Churchill. He wanted to be born in Kenya when it meant getting a leg up in the competitive world of academia. I doesn’t make any sense to me that he was born in Kenya, so I’m not a birther, but this just goes to show you what kind of fraud the man is.
Right. When his opponents questioned his birthplace, he said it was in Hawaii and anyone who thought he was lying was labeled a racist loon (aka Birther).
Now that we find out he represented himself as being born in Kenya, we are to assume he really was lying and he was still born in Hawaii.
Okay. Got it.
It matters not a jot where he was born, although his OWN and those around him’s confusion as to where that was is amusing they cant even decide WHERE in Hawaii he was born to this day. No what really matters is no matter where he was born he is NOT a Natural Born Citizen as he was born to an UNDERAGE Mother and a NON CITIZEN Father and no matter how you want to cut it that is NOT the definition of a NATURAL Born Citizen which requires TWO American Citizen Parents. He is but a Citizen by Birth and as such INELIGIBLE to be President.
I tire of the, ‘I’m so multicultural, did you know I was born in..’ nonsense.
Unfortunately I liken Chef Marcus Samuelsson’s background to this kind of shilling for attention.
Chef Samuelsson is a PHENOMENAL chef, there’s no doubt about it.
Though EVERY TIME Chef Samuelsson has a mic, video camera on him, he ALWAYS speaks of his being born in Africa, adopted and raised in Sweden and later moving to, opening his acclaimed restaurant in Harlem.
I just streamed the most recent episode of Top Chef Canada (my wife and are I are serious foodies. We et out maybe once a month or 6 weeks. Samuelsson’s cookbook is a must-have) and Chef Samuelsson was a guest taster/ judge.
Wouldn’t you know it, 1 of the other guest ‘judges’ (a wannabe cougar, bartender. Not even a cook let alone Chef whereas she’d opened your typical L.A. d-bag bar.. yippidy-doo) spoke of some of the Chef’s dishes lacking, ‘multiculturalism’.
Again I love Chef Samuelsson’s cooking prowess. But his pimping, yes pimping of his background needs to go way of the dodof for it’s insulting and ONLY appeases the nonsensical Illiberal mind.
This is where the importance of Obama’s college application forms comes in. What do they say about where he was born? What they say is what he himself said, and having no reason to lie, unless a scholarship was at risk, that might be where he’d be speaking the truth. Also, it would be instructive to see his mother’s passports and passport applications to find out where he was born. Perhaps he traveled on hers to get from Kenya to the U.S. or something.
The point is, nothing Obama says is credible.
Romney’s Strategy for Losing the Election
With Barack Hussein Obama’s candidacy on the ropes thanks mainly to his ineptness and far-out ideology, Mitt Romney could very well be America’s next president if he really wanted to be.
Apparently, he doesn’t.
Our economy is stuck in the doldrums, the unemployment rate stands at 8.1%, Obama’s “evolution” on homosexuals marrying other homosexuals alienated what remained of his support among Christians and other traditionalists, and now it’s been reported that his former literary agent said he was “born in Kenya” and his old spiritual adviser has ratted him out.
Had Mitt Romney written the script for his becoming the 45th president of the United States, he couldn’t have done any better.
Yet, Romney is on the verge of blowing it by taking the high road, the same road to ignominious defeat travelled by Sen. John McCain in 2008.
Four years ago, McCain opted against winning the presidency by telling it like it is about the character of his Democrat opponent and instead ran an ultra-principled race devoid of any references to Obama’s character or his toxic past.
He thereby removed the most potent evidence that the junior senator from Illinois was an extremist who would cause great harm to the country. That evidence, combined with Obama’s lack of experience, qualifications, and moral rectitude, could have resulted in an implosion of the presumptuous Obama campaign and given the U.S. a war hero and seasoned statesman as president in lieu of a “neighborhood organizer.”
McCain chose to ignore Obama’s tainted background, his close associations with extremist domestic terrorists such as Bill Ayers and Bernadine Dohrn, and his 20 years in sitting in the pews of black racist Rev. Jeremiah “God Damn America” Wright’s Trinity United Church while Wright spewed his hateful venom against white people and our country.
McCain lost, America lost, and the United States was saddled with the most left wing, most divisive, most incompetent, most pro-abortion, and the most disastrous leader in our history, Jimmy Carter not excepted.
2012 is shaping up to be what Yogi would have called déjà vu all over again. . .

just the other day barack was reminding the ladies of ‘the view’ that, what with his exotic name and all, his life is always a struggle. why wouldn’t the younger barack hussein obama have been happy to be painted as an international man of mystery rather than a prep school dweeb who lives with his white granny, where he was dumped by his jungle-fevered white mom ? it would be funny if not for the fact that he’s now sitting in the oval office…well, swinging out on the golf course…but you get the idea.

I firmly belief this would become clear if we could examine Obama’s college transcripts and records as we did Bush, Gore, and Kerry’s, and find out the exact details of his trip to Pakistan, not recorded on his US passport.
But to play devil’s advocate, if I were the spinmeister for Obama, I would claim the lit agent surmised his birthplace because his father was Kenyan and his mother a world traveler as an anthropologist. And claim that Obama never saw the description because it was a promo circulated to publishers, not a blurb on his book.
Plausible deniability. Probably a pack of lies, but how to prove it?
I have photographs of what purports to be Obama’s Kenyan birth certificate. I don’t know if they’re real, or forgeries, but they do exist. There were given to me by a retired journalist who got them from a contact in Nairobi…

So the very first birther, the originator of the movement, was Obamas own literary aagent. Nice to know that not all the birthers are lunatic racist right wing nut types. I agree with others here that Obama probably was born in Hawaii, but it is rather Elizabeth Warren of him to claim he was born in Kenya in his litarary bio.
Many commenters have clearly been paying attention to the Obama duplicity. I personally believe that Obama was born in Hawaii but chose to claim he was born in Kenya when that seemed convenient. It ceased to be convenient when he decided to run for President. When Alan Keyes made an issue of his being born in Kenya in the 2004 Senate race, Obama replied that he was only running for the Senate, not for President. I also believe that Obama’s father was not BHO, Sr., but rather Frank Marshall Davis. Google photos of the two and the Davis paternity is unmistakable! That would account for the fraudulent birth certificate. Davis was already married and a contemporary of Obama’s grandparents – and a self-professed Communist. The Barack Obama Senior connection was purely one of convenience. The Dunhams knew their daughter would be having a mixed race child, and the connection to Davis would have been bad for Davis as well as the Dunhams. I wonder whether BHO, Sr. was paid off for engaging in the scam. Dunham and BHO, Sr. never lived together. Perhaps BHO, Sr. hoped that having an “American family” would help him with U.S. immigration. As it was, Harvard decided he wasn’t up to their standards and he returned to Kenya without a Ph.D.
Obama has always lied and it continues.
The next logical step would be to find “evidence” that Frank Marshall Davis wasn’t actually an American, and the birthers can square this theory with the not a natural born citizen one.
