Insanity Wrap: Amateur Pr0n Star Goes Down in Virginia Election

Onetime amateur pr0n star and first-time Democrat candidate Susanna Gibson underperformed for once last night, losing her swing district to Republican David Owen in an otherwise strong night for Democrats. That's the lead crazy on today's Insanity Wrap, an entire week's worth of the best bad news.

Plus:

  • Come see the oppression inherent in the Ivy League.
  • Hamas supporters deface Middle East history book sold on Amazon.
  • TikTok goes to the make-believe dogs.

Before we get to today's big story, here's a short video to make you lose whatever little faith you might still have in humanity.

How Long Can You Stand to Watch?

In this week's "How Long Can You Stand to Watch?" challenge, I made it a little more than halfway through. I was convinced I could last all 49 seconds, but then the licking started.

How long did you last?

My Internet Sex Videos Somehow Got on the Internet Part II

In a September Insanity Wrap, I told you the strange tale of Democrat Virginia House District 57 candidate Susanna Gibson, whose internet sex videos were seen on the internet, totally violating the private moments she and her husband performed on the internet for tips.

"I’ve now read four different mainstream media write-ups of l’Affair Gibson," I wrote at the time, "and none of them reveals what it is she’d do for extra tokens. She’d have my vote if it was minor street repairs."

The worst part, as far as I'm concerned, wasn't watching Gibson try to play the victim card despite her wounds being entirely self-inflicted. In our Age Without Shame, it's expected for an amateur pr0n star or professional politician (it's so hard to tell the difference sometimes, assuming there is one) to act entirely shamelessly in pursuit of fame or power (ditto).

No, the worst part was watching the Complicit Media try to help Gibson along.

"Susanna Gibson: Virginia election involves candidate who endured sex scandal" is how the AP spun it as voters went to the polls on Tuesday. That poor thing.

When the scandal broke, CBS News was happy to parrot the Virginia Democrat party line with this headline: "Candidate's livestreamed sex videos a distraction from high-stakes election, some Virginia Democrats say." From there, Democrats all took the opportunity to flip the issue from Worst Candidate Ever™ to protecting abortion access.

Two weeks ago, NBC News went with "Virginia GOP mails voters explicit flyers about Democrat Susanna Gibson." NBC failed to mention until the second paragraph that the screencaps were from Gibson's live-streamed video yet still refers to them as "alleged." NBC failed entirely to mention that Gibson left the videos up and even uploaded an explicit image of herself after she announced her candidacy. I suppose Gibson doesn't need any help looking like an ill-prepared fool but, still, getting all the facts sure would be nice from a news report.

I could go on, but you get the point.

On an election night that went very well for Virginia Dems, Gibson failed to deliver her seat, losing to Republican David Owen, 51%-48%.

Um... wow. That was blatant, even for TwitterX.

Remember: life moves pretty fast. If you don’t stop and look around once in a while, you could miss totally, publicly contradicting and humiliating yourself.

Your Weekly Dose of Mandated Unity

Jewish student says she and friends were locked out of pro-Hamas event, forced to listen through the door.

"No Jews Allowed" is a thing at Yale now. Or maybe it has been for a while.

But with the war raging in Gaza after the Hamas Terror Invasion of October 7, Ivy League anti-Semitism has perhaps never been more blatant.

Sahar Tartak, a Jewish student at Yale, tried to attend an anti-Israel event at the school, just to keep an eye on the other side. She and her friends were denied entry, despite the event being sponsored by "Yale's departments of American Studies, Anthropology, Ethnicity, Race, & Migration, Religious Studies, Women, Gender, & Sexuality Studies, Middle East Studies, AND MORE."

They had to listen in from outside a locked door. Among the things they heard were:

Israel cannot remain the state of the Jewish people.

[Hamas is] a resistance group.

[Israel is] trying to inflict as much harm, damage, and death as possible.

Previously, the Yale Daily News issued a false "correction" to one of Tartak's pieces where she correctly reported on Hamas atrocities. YDN tried to scrub them.

Tell me again who the Nazis are.
