Pole dancing for Jesus? Why not! The NYT is on top of the story:
“The dance moves once reserved for strip clubs are being embraced by devout, churchgoing women,” says the anchorwoman. The reporter then introduces us to Crystal Deans, a former stripper who offers free monthly pole-dancing classes to women who take their church programs to Best Shape of Your Life, her studio in Spring, Tex., just outside Houston.
“Pole dancing for Jesus” was irresistible. Ms. Deans’s class had been covered by television stations and newspapers around the country, and Web sites including AOL, The Huffington Post and, for whatever reason, the Web site of The Advocate, a magazine popular with gay readers.
They say any exercise that gets your heart going is good for you. And this one might just be good for two.
Within the confine of marriage, of course.
