Rest Up

I’ve taken some time off tonight, to sit back, get away from all the little details we’ve been so engrossed with the last 25 or so hours, and try to take in the big picture.

It can’t be done. It’s just too early, there isn’t enough information, and too much of the information we do have is crap.

So I’m going to crawl into bed with my wife, a book, and the cat. Rest my eyes and my brain and get back in the game bright and early tomorrow morning. By the times I wake up, the Brits and Marines should ne halfway to al Kut, and 3ID, if they continue on what is by some reports a stellar advance, closing in on An Najaf or perhaps all the way up to Karbala.

Turn off the news. Have a beer. Tomorrow is gonna be another fun one.
