Pelosi Hospitalized in Rome

Former Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi (D-CA) was briefly hospitalized during a trip to Rome.  Reports from both ABC and AP said that she was admitted to Umberto I hospital feeling, “slightly unwell.”  According to Pelosi spokesperson Nadeam Elshami, Pelsoi was not feeling well after multiple trips around Afghanistan, then the long flight to Italy.  Elshami stated Pelosi, “…is now resuming her schedule in Italy.”

While many may disagree with her politics, we are glad she is well, and out of the hospital.  Pelosi is in Italy with a group of Congress members to meet with Italian president Giorgio Napolitano, as well as US troops stationed in the region.
