Cruz Promises to Nuke the Dept. of Education

This came after yet another one of Kasich’s very leftist justifications for his love of Common Core. There are mountains of evidence about the steady decline of public education in America since the Department of Education was elevated to Cabinet-level money-sucking status. Getting rid of it would be one of the strongest moves we could make for the future of this country. Democrats, of course, hate the idea because without it they can’t keep the teachers’ unions happy. It’s a priority that should be high on the list of any serious conservative candidate, however.
