As I reported on Sunday and Money, there's a pro-commie convoy of worthless people currently visiting Cuba. They were doing some extremely grotesque things, and among those things was using cookies and candy to bribe children to dance and act happy for their propaganda videos. This Marxist influencer, Hasan Piker, talked about how the people are enjoying life just hanging out in the streets, partying, with no power or food, and called it the "island mindset." Life is good, he promised his followers.
The fact is that these people are hanging out in the streets because their indoor living conditions are less than desirable, particularly with no power. These kids are in the street because it's physically impossible to go to school every day.

But there's something even darker going on that the worthless people such as Piker and Code Pink won't show you.
Not all of the minors in Cuba get to hang out in the streets. Some of them are political prisoners.
One of those is Jonathan Muir Burgos, the 16-year-old son of Elier Muir Ávila, an evangelical pastor of the Tiempo de Cosecha Independent Church in the town of Morón.
On March 16, both Jonathan and his father were arrested. His father was released hours later, but Jonathan was interrogated and remains detained for allegedly participating in the ongoing Cuban protests on March 13 and 14, around the time that a Communist Party headquarters in Morón was set on fire. Authorities have threatened to prosecute him to the fullest extent of the law for supposedly "calling for freedom" in Cuba. He's apparently being held incommunicado.
Jonathan's father has said that he wishes the regime had kept him and released his son, but that's now how tyranny works. In Cuba, churches can't operate without state approval, and those that do face surveillance, warnings, restrictions, and actions like this. Pastor Muir Ávila was apparently warned to shut his ministry down in 2024. He didn't. This is probably his punishment.
According to Christian Solidarity Worldwide (CSW), "The Cuban government has a long history of targeting the children of church leaders as a pressure tactic. Earlier this month, government officials attempted to forcibly take the 23-year-old son of another unregistered pastor into military service."
CSW and numerous other Christian and human rights groups are calling on the regime to release Jonathan, who has a medical condition that has led to serious infections in the past and requires regular medication.
"The detention of a 16-year-old child with a serious medical condition simply because he attempted to exercise his freedom of expression is unconscionable," said CSW Director of Advocacy Anna Lee Stangl said in a statement. "Despite the gravity of the situation on the island – with rampant hunger, scarcity of medicine, outbreaks of disease and the failure of the power grid – the answer of President Miguel Díaz-Canel and, the Cuban Communist Party is to round up and imprison those who dare to call for change."
Several members of Congress, including Reps Carlos A. Giménez (R-Fla.) and María Elvira Salazar (R-Fla.), have called for Jonathan's release as well. Here's a picture of him that's circulating social media.
🚨#SOSCuba In the US Congress, I’m demanding the immediate release of 16 year-old Jonathan Muir — a political prisoner unjustly detained in Castro’s jails for simply expressing his views.

The regime commits flagrant Human Rights violations. This cruelty must come to an end. pic.twitter.com/UKmJjMROZg
Jonathan isn't the first minor to be arrested for protesting or expressing anti-regime opinions, and unless something happens soon, he won't be the last. The regime has been locking kids up for years. But you won't find any of that in a Code Pink video.
