Good News: Far-Left ‘Trumpugees’ Are Fleeing the U.S. in Increasing Numbers

As if the roaring economy, the quiet border, and the stymieing of the left’s quest to destroy women’s sports weren’t enough, there is more good news: an increasing number of far-left lunatics have had it up to here with Trump’s Amerikkka, and are fleeing to the leftist hellhole of their choice. You have chosen wisely, comrades! Keep it up! You’re not only doing yourselves a favor; you’re also making a tremendous contribution to the land you’re leaving!

One group that is apparently heading for the exit door in a big way is men who think they’re women, and women who think they’re men. Newsweek on Friday said that “the past few months have seen a surge in the number of Americans looking into leaving the U.S. or seeking dual citizenship because of the political climate gripping the country, especially LGBTQ+ individuals and families.”

One of them, Grover Wehman-Brown, is apparently (from the looks of an accompanying photo, and from the fact that she is going by a man’s name) a woman who thinks she is man, although it’s impossible to absolutely sure. Newsweek, continuing to pander to the transgender insanity after the fashion of all establishment media outlets, refers to her as if she were plural throughout its story. (And she may well be plural; see Mark 5:9).

And so Newsweek tells us that Wehman-Brown “was in the midst of packing ahead of their big move to Europe.” She isn’t going with a group; the plural pronoun is Newsweek’s accommodation of her delusions and fantasies. Yet all is not well with Wehman-Brown. It seems that she has noticed that the cultural tide is turning, and that more and more people are deciding they don’t really want to play pretend about gender, and will instead stick with reality.

Newsweek informs us that “since President Donald Trump's first electoral victory in 2016, Wehman-Brown, a transgender writer and consultant, had noticed that things were changing in the country: the public opinion on LGBTQ+ rights was quickly turning. In the months leading up to November last year, they became sure: the U.S. was no longer a country where their nontraditional, LGBTQ+ family could thrive, or even feel welcome.” Translation: it was getting harder to intimidate and force other people to accept her illusions about herself. The emperor was discovered to have no clothes, and so it was time to flee.

A company with the charming name of GTFO is helping delusional ideologues such as Grover Wehman-Brown resettle in the Netherlands, where she will encounter a large and ever-growing number of Muslim migrants who will quickly show her that their opposition to her gender fantasies makes Donald Trump look like a transgender advocate. Nevertheless, GTFO Tours “reported a 200 percent increase in inquiries from U.S. nationals in the days following Trump's decision to deploy hundreds of National Guard troops to quell anti-deportation protests in Los Angeles last month. The company refers to them as

Trumpugees.” Bethany Quinn of GTFO Tours took a look at the secure border, the rebounding economy, and America’s recovering stature worldwide, and remarked: "I think a lot of Americans have sort of been waiting to see how things are going, but they just keep getting worse." Yeah. Best y’all just go, and don’t even think about coming back, because things are going to get worse still.

Grover Wehman-Brown, Newsweek tells us, “is originally from rural Ohio, but has moved with their wife to many different cities and regions around the U.S. for the 14 years they have been together, ‘trying to find the right mix of things we need in our life.” They’ve — that is, both of them — tried “LGBTQ+ friendly places with strong economies and job opportunities, access to nature and greenery, a good environment to raise kids, and that are neither too hot nor too expensive.”

And so “for the past decade, they have been moving back and forth between the San Francisco Bay Area and western Massachusetts, where they lived until last week. But even these places, regarded among the most liberal in the country, did not offer Wehman-Brown's family the safety and stability they were seeking.” Why not? Because of Orange Man Bad, of course.

Wehman-Brown, no doubt pitching her voice as far into the lower register as she could, explained: "I have been working in social justice communications and tracking the news very closely, both in terms of housing costs and housing unaffordability and the increasingly fraying social net. And I was seeing that crisis continue to get worse and worse. I was also working for an organization tracking and responding to white supremacy; and as I was tracking the rise of the right, I started talking very seriously with my wife about considering making life elsewhere."

It’s hard to know what she is on about, since there is virtually no “white supremacy” in America today, and yet the left professes to see it everywhere. At this point, it is essentially whatever the left dislikes. And so Grover Wehman-Brown and her lesbian companion, that is, “their wife,” will be absconding. May many others like them follow their example.
