Referring to “the Biden regime” rather than “the Biden administration” was not hysteria or politically motivated hyperbole. During the four years of Biden’s handlers’ misrule, America veered perilously close to becoming an authoritarian, one-party state in which only one political perspective could lawfully be stated publicly. If Kamala Harris had been elected, authoritarianism would likely have continued its inexorable advance.
All this was already abundantly clear from numerous actions of the Biden regime. Now, Director of National Intelligence Tulsi Gabbard has revealed that there was even more to Old Joe’s sinister authoritarian bent: a secret Biden-era program that formed the basis of the Biden regime’s justification for treating patriots as if they were terrorists.
There was a good deal of that. The Biden regime tried to establish the abortive Disinformation Governance Board, which would have policed speech that dissented from the leftist establishment’s perspective. The regime also sicced the FBI on angry parents protesting at school board meetings, worked with Twitter (X) and other social media giants to silence and deplatform people with opposing views, and even sent spies into Catholic churches to keep tabs on pro-lifers.
That wasn’t all. Biden regime spokesmen repeatedly claimed, contrary to all reality, that “white supremacists” constituted the biggest terror threat the nation faced. This was ominous, as in the absence of any significant number of actual white supremacists, let alone white supremacist terrorists, it was clear that the regime intended to use “white supremacists” as a catchall for anyone they wanted to target.
Old Joe Biden said it during his speech to a Joint Session of Congress in April 2021: “We won’t ignore what our own intelligence agencies have determined – the most lethal terrorist threat to the homeland today is from white supremacist terrorism.”
In June 2021, Biden doubled down: “As I said in my address to the joint session of Congress: According to the intelligence community, terrorism from white supremacy is the most lethal threat to the homeland today. Not ISIS, not al Qaeda — white supremacists. That’s not me; that’s the intelligence community under both Trump and under my administration.” Read that again and remember the left’s efforts to portray the phony Jan. 6 “insurrection” as an eruption of “white supremacy.”
Now, however, American authoritarianism is a thing of the past, even as the left continues its hysterical claims that Trump wants to be a dictator and poses an imminent threat to what they insist upon calling “our democracy” (that is, the left’s hegemony). Just The News reported Monday that Gabbard “has ended the domestic terrorism approach of the Biden administration that was used to justify the targeting of conservative Catholics, gun enthusiasts and parents who protested school board policies.”
And that’s not all. “Domestic terrorism was recently removed as a top threat from the intelligence community’s national threat assessment as a first step in that transition.” A June 2021 “domestic terrorism policy memo empowered federal agencies like the FBI and Homeland Security Department to open probes on Americans solely if an agent believed they had been involved in ‘concerning non-criminal behavior.’” This “substantially lowered the decades-long standard that agents opening a probe must have a predicate based on a reasonable factual basis that a crime has been committed. The FBI and DHS were allowed by Biden to open a probe based on a mere concern and without the behavior having to be criminal in nature.”

Gabbard explained: “Disguised as an attempt to curb ‘domestic terrorism,’ Biden’s plan actually functioned as a partisan playbook on how the Biden Administration would weaponize government and intelligence against everyday Americans whose ‘offense’ was supporting President Trump, or daring to disagree with or oppose their policies.”
She added: “To ensure transparency and accountability, I declassified and released the document, so Americans could see the truth about the Biden Administration's weaponization and politicization of our government against Americans. This abuse of power that violates our God-given freedoms and civil liberties must end.” Indeed. This kind of policy needs not only to be exposed and rejected, but so firmly and explicitly repudiated as fundamentally out of line with the American spirit that it can never rise again.
It is clear now: the Biden regime wasn’t just America-Last. It wasn’t just “post-American,” as the Obama administration was often dubbed. The Biden regime was actively anti-American. May the likes of it never again be inflicted upon the American people.
