What's wrong with Christmas sweaters?

Whenever I read about fashion (which is rare as I don’t really care, unless I have to dress up for work), I see tips like this a href=”http://www.advicegoddess.com/archives/2009/12/15/if_i_were_queen.html”one made by Amy Alkon:/abr /br /blockquoteAvoid Christmas sweaters at all cost. If you have one, burn it, so you can ensure that you will never be drunk enough to put it on. Oh, sorry — considering what they’re usually made of, make that “melt it in a well-ventilated area.”/blockquotebr /Okay, I can understand not wanting to wear a Christmas sweater like a href=”http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B001NQKHPI?ie=UTF8tag=wwwviolentkicomlinkCode=as2camp=1789creative=9325creativeASIN=B001NQKHPI”this one/aimg src=”http://www.assoc-amazon.com/e/ir?t=wwwviolentkicoml=as2o=1a=B001NQKHPI” width=”1″ height=”1″ border=”0″ alt=”” style=”border:none !important; margin:0px !important;” /but is a href=”http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B002R0M06I?ie=UTF8tag=wwwviolentkicomlinkCode=as2camp=1789creative=9325creativeASIN=B002R0M06I”this one/aimg src=”http://www.assoc-amazon.com/e/ir?t=wwwviolentkicoml=as2o=1a=B002R0M06I” width=”1″ height=”1″ border=”0″ alt=”” style=”border:none !important; margin:0px !important;” / so bad? I think it is festive and nice. I admit having given something similar to someone for a gift years ago. Am I a bad person for doing so? Yes, according to Manolo, the shoe blogger, a href=”http://shoeblogs.com/2005/10/12/the-holiday-sweater/”who says:/abr /br /blockquoteSo, listen to the advice of the Manolo, and make this the season of joy by giving your holiday sweaters to the garbage man./blockquotebr /br /Do you wear Christmas clothing–sweaters, sweatshirts etc.? Or, do you consider it a fashion faux pas like so many others?
