Madeleine Albright Says Trump's Cabinet Is 'All White Men'

Madeleine Albright has been in a presidential cabinet — she served as Bill Clinton’s secretary of State. It’s the reason she’s well-known and treated as authoritative by mainstream media.

Of course, only truth can be authoritative.

In an interview with BuzzFeed News’ AM to DM morning show, Albright said:

There are a lot of smart women that are very capable of making decisions. One of the things I have said is women work incredibly hard, having a lot of good ideas, but there needs to be more than one woman in the room.

BuzzFeed editor-in-chief Ben Smith asked her if the makeup of President Donald Trump’s cabinet surprised her.

“You mean all white men?” Albright replied.

Smith should have challenged her. He simply said: “Yeah.”

Of course, “all white men” is false. And frankly, it perpetuates sexism when Education Secretary Betsy DeVos, Transportation Secretary Elaine Chao, and Homeland Security Secretary Kirstjen Nielsen get overlooked by Albright and Smith despite their accomplishments.

HUD Secretary Ben Carson was probably a bit surprised, too.

There are plenty of other women throughout Trump’s administration: the history-making Kellyanne Conway, WH Press Secretary Sarah Sanders, and the nominated Gina Haspel.

However, Albright minimizes these women and minorities by helping peddle the falsehood that Trump is a sexist and racist.

There are legitimate gripes to be made about Donald Trump. I wish he’d spend less time ginning up outrage on Twitter. Other people have different complaints, and that’s fine.

But this idea that he only trusts white men is a smear.

And the fact that Albright was allowed to make this comment unchallenged — that Smith either didn’t know or chose not to correct her — shows just how invested the Left is in this pathetic lie.
