Starbucks Union Claims Corporate Won't Let Stores Decorate for Pride Month

So let’s see: We have unionized Starbucks employees who are complaining. Normally, the words “unionized” and “Starbucks employees” would be pretty much all you need to hear. If there was ever a demographic built to complain it is the generation that makes up Starbucks employees. Have you ever noticed that you never read stories about that demographic holding food or coat drives or even hammering a few nails for Habitat for Humanity? No, because they don’t do those things. They do, however, believe that they somehow make the world a better place by staging walkouts, committing arson, and dancing down the street with rainbow-colored dildos on their foreheads. (“No ,Timmy, that’s not a unicorn. Well, maybe it is. Who the hell knows at this point? Eat your popcorn.”)

It is that attitude that has moved the rank-and-file of the battlin’ baristas to lodge a complaint against the company. Starbucks Workers United claims that corporate prohibited “dozens” of stores from decorating for Pride month this year. The company released a statement to CNBC denying that it had placed any restrictions on Pride décor, adding that the issue is largely left up to managers and employees. The union, however, claims that some 22 stores were told not to decorate. One store said that there were not enough “employee hours” for the activity. Hey folx, you voted to unionize. Don’t gripe when shop rules get in the way. A Starbucks in Oklahoma said it was opting not to decorate after Target employees were threatened with violence. Would that violence include those bomb threats to Target made by people who claimed to represent the LGBTQ community and who were chapped that the chain scaled back its Pride displays? Or maybe the threats are the parents who have protested trans events and agendas? The LGBTQ crowd’s definition of violence is one of the most inclusive things about it. Saying, “No, thank you, I do not need a rainbow flag. Have a nice day,” is practically an incitement to riot. Meanwhile, there is ample evidence that the trans community is becoming increasingly violent on its own. These people maintain that this is in response to the actions of the usual suspects that they and President Resident regularly name. Some have theorized that the transgender movement attracts dysfunctional people and provides an additional home for those who favor Marxist violence. Sounds plausible.

Starbucks may have discouraged Pride decorations after watching the drubbing Bud Light and Target have received through boycotts. Maybe. The company has been clear in the past about telling people with traditional values that they can kick rocks. But this time, by and large, the American public has had it up to its collective nostrils with the drama. People are getting fed up and the boycotts are working. But there is another problem for the trans community that necessitates the drumbeat of victimhood, violence, and constant displays. in case you haven’t noticed, the driving factor in that community is narcissism. The need for attention is at the heart of the movement. And the longer it drones on, the more people are going to realize that what was once scandalous is now just boring. Let’s face it, if you’ve seen one drag queen, you’ve pretty much seen ’em all. “Yeah, you’re here. You’re queer. Who cares? I just came in for a carton of milk and some hotdog buns, dude.” One of the biggest dangers to the trans movement is that it might become passé.  What’s left then for a group of people who are starved for attention and find themselves suddenly denied it? I am not saying that the dangers posed to children should be ignored, simply that at some point people will find something else about to which set their hair on fire and become hysterical.
