Bad news, America—Hamas, Palestinian Islamic Jihad (PIJ), and Hezbollah terrorists aren’t just waging war on Israel, they are potentially crossing over the southern U.S. border too. World Jihad, here we come.
Two points are certain: that terrorist cells operate in the U.S. and that terrorists are crossing our southern border. The first has been established for years now. The second is amply illustrated by recent data. In fact, illegal terrorist and potential terrorist crossings have skyrocketed under Joe Biden. It turns out that open borders favor America-hating jihadis in their quest to infiltrate the U.S. Who would have thought?
The Daily Caller News Foundation exclusively obtained an internal memo from the San Diego Field Office Intelligence Division of Customs and Border Protection (CBP) warning that the bloody ongoing Hamas-Israel conflict could lead to an uptick in terrorists seeking to enter the U.S. through our southern border. Isn’t it wonderful that Biden funds Palestinian terrorists only for them to come here and try to kill Americans? Maybe we should bring over more Palestinian “refugees” from the Gaza Strip, where over 90% of residents support jihad against Israel! The Daily Caller:
[The] memo warn[ed] that due to the war between Israel and Hamas, there could be encounters of terror-tied individuals who are seeking to travel to or from the Middle East via transit across the southern border. Hamas, PIJ and Hezbollah, all of which are U.S.-designated terrorist organizations, have been committing attacks on Israel in a war that began with a surprise attack on hundreds of civilians on Oct. 7…Border patrol encounters with illegal aliens on the terror watchlist at the southern and northern borders hit 172 in fiscal year 2023, up from 98 in fiscal year 2022.
To put that in context, just two years ago, in 2021, Border Patrol recorded only 15 terror watchlist encounters, and two years earlier, under Trump, the number was a big fat 0. From 0 to 172 terrorists crossing the border in four years—that’s the success of the Biden administration! On top of that, CBP flagged almost 75,000 illegal aliens across America as potential national security risks this fiscal year (due to potential terrorist ties).

The Daily Caller quoted the recent CBP memo, “San Diego Field Office Intelligence Unit assesses that individuals inspired by, or reacting to the current Israel-Hamas conflict may attempt travel to or from the area of hostilities in the Middle East via circuitous transit across the Southwest border.” It added, with the patches of terrorist groups Hezbollah, Hamas, and PIJ, “Foreign fighters motivated by ideology or mercenary soldiers of fortune may attempt to obfuscate travel to or from the US to or from countries in the Middle East through Mexico.”
CBN News noted on Oct. 13 that “New Yorker Ali Kourani admitted in 2017 to being a member of something called ‘Unit 9-10.’ It’s the Black Ops unit of Hezbollah, controlled by Iran.” According to Kourani, he was trained as a suicide bomber and had been looking for New York City targets. A New Jersey man was sentenced just this year, partly for Hezbollah training. A George Washington University (GWU) study from 2022 found Hezbollah activity particularly concentrated in California, New York, North Carolina, and Michigan. The study began by stating that “terrorist groups such as Lebanese Hezbollah (or simply Hezbollah) have developed a significant support base in the United States.” Well, that’s encouraging. Hezbollah’s in-U.S. activities include fundraising, “weapons procurement,” and other shady activities.
The study also mentioned Hamas, noting that one man, Adel El Zabayar, was charged in 2020 in New York with training Hamas and Hezbollah operatives in Venezuela with the goal of committing terrorist attacks in the United States. El Zabayar reportedly traveled to Syria and “Palestine” to recruit terrorists and obtain weapons.
The new CBP memo’s “Questions of Interest” include asking about “personal or familial association with Hamas, Hezbollah, Palestinian Islamic Jihad (PIJ), Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine (PFLP) or any other similar groups.” All of the mentioned groups are on the U.S. foreign terrorist organizations list.
Former FBI Special Agent Eric Caron told CBN News, “We have over a thousand joint terrorism task force cases going on here in America today relating to Muslim extremists.” Caron warned, “The idea that they don’t want to attack us again like a 9-11, but even bigger is foolish. They want to attack us. They want to destroy America.” And Joe Biden’s open border policies are apparently helping the terrorists achieve that ambition.
