The Democrat Party's embrace of socialism has become a key campaign issue of this year's midterms, and voters have every reason to pay attention. DSA-linked candidates have ousted incumbent Democrats in their primaries and beaten establishment Democrats in open ones. The base has told us what direction it wants the party to go, and we have every reason to believe the party will continue the radical leftward shift it's been making for decades.
But Democrats are also embracing something else even more dangerous and radical, if you can believe it.
Stephen Miller, the White House deputy chief of staff for policy and homeland security advisor, laid out the case this week on Hannity on Fox News, and it's a damning one. His charge fits the party's pattern of siding with terrorists like Hamas and Hezbollah over Israel and even America.
"Fundamentally, Sean, what we're dealing with here is a Democrat Party, from coast to coast, that is embracing jihadism," Miller told Fox News host Sean Hannity. "You have, of course, the mayor of New York City that refuses to simply mourn the victims of the October 7 atrocity without also trying to make a statement justifying the violent 'resistance' that has taken place by terrorists in Palestinian territory."
The record backs him up. Right after the Oct. 7, 2023, terrorist attacks, pro-Hamas encampments sprang up on college campuses across the country, where mobs assaulted and harassed Jews. Democrats in Congress responded by calling to defund Israel, including the Iron Dome, a purely defensive system that shoots down rockets aimed at civilians. Since then, the party has nominated Abdul El-Sayed in Michigan, who has ties to terrorist organizations including the Muslim Brotherhood, and Zohran Mamdani, who wants to globalize the intifada. CAIR has bragged about getting more candidates like them elected nationwide, and few Democrats are speaking out against it.

"Then you have Abdul El-Sayed in Michigan," Miller continued. "A candidate who campaigned with Hasan Piker, an openly pro-terrorist, pro-jihad, anti-American extremist who celebrated 9/11. You have in Minnesota an entire statewide political leadership system — Walz, Klobuchar, the whole state, Keith Ellison — that continues to shield, protect, harbor, and support the radicalized members of the Somali refugee community, even on the heels of the FBI stopping what would have been a mass casualty by a Somali ISIS supporter at the Mall of America."
Think about that for a second: The FBI stops a planned massacre at one of the busiest shopping centers in the country, and the state's Democrat leadership keeps right on protecting the community that produced the suspect.
The rot goes beyond a handful of candidates and one state. "You have a Democrat Party that, at every single level, that refuses to side with the American military, the American President, the American government in combat operations against the Iranian regime, which has spread death, terror, and destruction all over the world," Miller said. "And you also have a Democrat Party that continues to support Islamist jihad migration into every part of this country."
That last immigration piece is where this becomes a direct threat to your family. Democrats have had every chance to choose American security over open borders, and they've chosen wrong every time.
"When President Trump came into office in his first term, he put a travel ban on terrorist hotspots," Miller added. "The Democrat Party opened the floodgates to those same hotspots. President Trump shut those gates again. But every single day, Democrats are agitating to bring massive flows of refugees from the most pro-jihad areas of the planet into the United States. The Democrat Party has become, Sean, a jihad party."

Twenty-five years ago, this country stood united in its vow to never forget what happened on 9/11 or who attacked us. Today, one of our two major parties openly embraces the ideology that attacked us. A party that can no longer tell America's enemies from its friends has forfeited any claim to be trusted with America's safety.
