For as long as I’ve been actively following politics, unhinged Democrats have been threatening to leave the United States if the Democrat didn’t win the presidential election. Yet neither when George W. Bush won in 2000 nor when he was reelected in 2004 did they go anywhere. When Trump won in 2016, and again, nothing. But now, we’re starting to see these unhinged activists follow through, and good riddance to them.
In recent months, the likes of Ellen Degeneres, Portia de Rossi, Rosie O’Donnell, and Eva Longoria have moved out of the United States, and others have claimed they intend to. Another leftist is declaring that America is just “too hateful” to handle, and he’s saying he plans to ship off to another country. This time it’s Dylan Mulvaney, the TikTok-famous "trans influencer" who became the face of one of the most embarrassing corporate disasters in recent history (looking at you, Bud Light). Mulvaney has apparently decided he’s had enough of this allegedly bigoted country and is heading for the United Kingdom.

Good riddance.
Mulvaney claims he feels safer and more “seen” overseas, blaming his departure on all the mean, scary Americans who won’t affirm that he’s a woman. Yes, because nothing screams bravery like packing up and running away.
But I can’t help noticing the irony of the situation. The UK Supreme Court just declared last week that the legal definition of “woman” refers specifically to those born biologically female — which Dylan was not.
The reality is, this move says more about Mulvaney and the state of liberalism than it does about America. After all, this is the same man whose only real claim to fame was capitalizing on the woke mob’s embrace of transgender politics — and helping to demolish Bud Light's customer base in the process. Now, after alienating every middle-American beer drinker and turning himself into a punchline, he’s fleeing the scene of the crime. How convenient.

This isn’t courage; it’s entitlement, and it’s emblematic of the progressive mindset. When things get uncomfortable, they pack up, complain about America, and refuse to confront the mess they leave behind.
Of course, the liberal media is calling this “inspiring” and “courageous.” Spare me. It’s garden-variety escapism. Real bravery would mean facing criticism and dealing with the fallout from turning womanhood into a grotesque performance. Instead, Dylan Mulvaney is fleeing to another country in hopes of being fully accepted as a woman. Perhaps he is unaware that, for years now, Europe has been growing increasingly skeptical of gender ideology — especially when it targets children.
Mulvaney’s escape to the UK isn’t some profound critique of America; it’s a reminder of how detached the woke left is from reality. They play the victim but collapse under the slightest pushback. His imminent move is a win for common sense and for every American who’s had enough of watching his or her values steamrolled by a vocal minority with no tolerance for disagreement.
So to Dylan and anyone else convinced America isn’t good enough: Don’t let the door hit you on the way out. Just stop talking about leaving and leave.
