Unlike the Biden administration’s parade of diversity hires—who seemed more focused on announcing their pronouns than actually doing their jobs—President Trump’s team is running like a well-oiled machine. But this isn’t just an improvement over Biden’s incompetence; it’s a far more disciplined and effective operation than Trump’s first term. And there’s one key person to thank for that.
Let’s be honest: Trump made some missteps in his first term. Not everyone he brought in lived up to his promise of surrounding himself with “the best and most serious people.” Remember Omarosa Manigault Newman? Anthony Scaramucci? They and countless others proved to be disasters. But things have changed, and Trump’s brilliant choice of Susie Wiles for chief of staff has clearly made a difference.
During a rare interview on "My View with Lara Trump” on Fox News, Wiles laid out her no-nonsense approach to running the White House.
"I see my job as just sort of keeping the trains on the tracks and running on time here, so that the subject-matter experts — and particularly the president and the vice president — can do what they need to do to fix the country," she said.
She emphasized that Trump was also “ready to hit the ground running,” having spent four years refining his agenda between his first and second terms.
Instead of virtue signaling about being the "first woman" in her role, Wiles made it clear she's there to work. "I don't think I was the first woman to lead a Republican presidential campaign,” she said. “I just keep doing what I think is right. Keep working as hard as I can, and it's working for me."

The results speak for themselves. Trump, indeed, hit the ground running on day one, armed with executive orders to undo Biden's America-last agenda. His cabinet picks are light-years ahead of his first term - remember the chaos of 2017? Not this time. Trump learned, adapted, and came back stronger.
"I've been with him long enough that we have a pretty good, easy thing going, but that doesn't mean I don't wake up every single day and be a little bit on edge to make sure I keep that up and do it right every day, because that's what he deserves and that's what the country deserves from us," Wiles said.
And make no mistake about it, the administration is completely focused this time around.
"We're very invested and involved in a trade conversation. He's trying to settle a war. These are heady, big things that are important not for now, but for the future. Rebuilding the American economy; getting all these criminals out of our country; peace in the world," Wiles explained.

"The first month we were here, everybody was so thrilled to be here — euphoric about where we were and having won the election and having the president back. Now we're into the time where it's real work. It's really long hours. It's a slog to get his agenda accomplished."
The Democrats' worst nightmare isn't just that Trump is back—it's that he's back smarter, more disciplined, and with a team that knows exactly how to get things done. And that's what really keeps them up at night.
