If there's one thing the radical left excels at, it's their uncanny ability to champion the absolute worst people imaginable. From wearing Che Guevara t-shirts to defending Venezuelan dictators to supporting cop killers like Mumia Abu-Jamal and pedophiles like Harvey Milk and Roman Polanski, it’s like they've never met an evil person they didn't want to lionize.
It never stops. Their recent support of cold-blooded killer Luigi Mangione has been absolutely frightening. Sadly, their trend of support for evil people continues. This time, they’re rushing to defend a Hamas-supporting student who just got the boot from Columbia University. Because, apparently, supporting a terrorist organization that brutally murdered 1,200 innocent Israelis isn't quite enough to ruffle Democrat feathers anymore. Nope, it’s actually on brand for the party.
In a move that has liberals clutching their pearls, Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) arrested Mahmoud Khalil, a Syrian-born student whose links to terrorism finally caught up with him.

President Trump, who's been cleaning house since returning to office, didn't mince words: "This is the first arrest of many to come," he said in a post on Truth Social. “We know there are more students at Columbia and other Universities across the Country who have engaged in pro-terrorist, anti-Semitic, anti-American activity, and the Trump Administration will not tolerate it.”
Good. It's about time someone took action against these campus radicals who think supporting terrorism is just another form of "peaceful protest."
The usual suspects are already lining up to defend this Hamas cheerleader. Senate Judiciary Committee Democrats posted a picture of Khalil on its official X account with the message “Free Mahmoud Khalil.”
Because nothing says "we care about American security" quite like defending someone who supports a designated terrorist organization.
New York AG Letitia James, when she's not busy trying to destroy Trump's business empire, jumped into the fray, expressing "extreme concern" about Khalil's arrest. Here's a thought: Maybe save that concern for the victims of Hamas terrorism instead?

The left conveniently forgets that being in America is a privilege, not a right. Khalil's student visa and green card have been revoked, and he's facing deportation. Immigration officials prefer sending him back rather than having American taxpayers foot the bill for his extended stay in detention. And I agree.
After October 7—the deadliest massacre of Jews since the Holocaust—this kind of decisive action isn’t just justified; it’s essential. Yet Democrats are so consumed by their hatred of Trump that they’ve chosen to side with Khalil. And what does that prove, other than the fact that there’s no bottom to the kind of scum they’ll defend? Honestly, if 9/11 happened today, the Democratic Party would be lining up to support Osama bin Laden.
