Sweet! Democrats Appear Committed to Losing More Elections

The Democratic Party may be regrouping and preparing for an all-out war to oppose Trump’s agenda, but when it comes to its own electoral game plan, these guys must be committed to losing. Let me explain why.

The Democratic National Committee (DNC) is set to hold leadership elections on Saturday, and the roster of candidates is bent on doubling down on the very policies that have led to their historic lows in approval ratings.

Instead of reassessing their approach, they appear determined to push their extreme intersectional agenda. The latest DNC forum, set against a backdrop of rainbow symbols and diversity slogans, looked more like an SNL parody mocking the DNC than a serious policy discussion. MSNBC’s Jen Psaki and Jonathan Capehart led the questioning — each query serving to entrench the Democrats further into their identity politics.

When asked if they believed that racism and misogyny played a role in Vice President Harris’ defeat — well, you can guess what happened — all the candidates for DNC chair raised their hands, eliciting laughter from the audience.

“Okay, that's good. You all passed,” Capeheart said.

“You all passed,” he said as if it’s an indisputable fact that Kamala lost because of racism and misogyny. Never mind that Barack Obama was elected twice, proving that Americans are more than willing to elect a black person. Never mind that Hillary Clinton won the popular vote in 2016 even though she was a deeply flawed candidate with decades of baggage. The reality is that voters rejected Kamala not because she’s a minority or a woman but because she was an unlikable, ineffective, and widely unpopular vice president of a failed administration.

Did they forget that Kamala's approval ratings were abysmal, her public appearances were often riddled with incoherent rambling, and her tenure was marked by failures — particularly on issues like immigration, which she was tasked with handling but failed to address meaningfully? Yet rather than acknowledge these legitimate reasons for her defeat, Democrats reflexively blame racism and sexism, proving once again that they’ve learned nothing from their 2024 losses.

This tells us the DNC is still very much out of touch with reality and won’t open its eyes to actual voter sentiments regarding Democrats' performance in office. Throughout the 2024 election, polls showed Trump getting an increase in support from minority voters. We reported on these polls regularly, and the election results bore this out. Democrats refuse to see it.

In their desperation, DNC candidates suggested establishing a "war room" to combat "misinformation," reinforcing the notion that the problem lies not in their own ideology but in the electorate's inability to grasp how great their policies are.

The DNC’s current trajectory is so misguided that if it persists in prioritizing its radical ideologies over the needs and concerns of everyday Americans, it might indeed ensure its own long-term electoral irrelevance. New leadership that recognizes where Democrats went wrong and has a desire to change it was the best hope the party had, yet based on these candidates, that isn’t happening. So Democrats will continue to indulge in their own delusions, and Republicans stand poised to capitalize on it for many elections to come.
