We Shouldn’t Be Afraid To Talk About 2020

There isn't a single presidential election that Democrats have lost in 23 years that they haven't questioned, challenged, or said was being stolen from them, yet the term "election denier" is slapped on any Republican who dares to ask questions about the 2020 election. The mainstream media won't similarly apply the label to those who still think Al Gore was the rightful winner of the 2000 election; or John Kerry, who thinks George W. Bush stole the 2004 election from him; or pretty much everyone on the left who absurdly believed that Donald Trump colluded with Russia to steal the 2016 election, including Hillary Clinton, Joe Biden, Kamala Harris, Rep. Hakeem Jeffries, and many, many, many others.

And don't get me started on Stacey Abrams.

Yet none of them have ever been indicted for attacking our democracy. We never saw George W. Bush abuse the justice system and indict Al Gore, John Kerry, or the Democrats in Congress who attempted to challenge the Electoral College vote counting in 2004. Nor did Donald Trump "lock her up" when Hillary Clinton continued to claim the 2016 election was stolen from her. It didn't happen.

But the 2020 election was different. Unlike the previous elections when Democrats accused Republicans of stealing, those who dared question the results were made into pariahs. If you even suggested the possibility of fraud, you'd be censored on social media. The leftist gatekeepers of the media, Big Tech, and social media wouldn't even let us discuss the possibility of fraud in the 2020 election. If you didn't repeat the talking point that 2020 was the safest and most secure election in history, you would not be taken seriously. Yet, even after countless investigations determined there was no evidence of Trump colluding with Russia, there are still many on the left who believe it and continue to claim the election was stolen.

The truth is, there are plenty of reasons why claims that the 2020 election was the most secure in history are just flat-out wrong. Does that mean the alleged fraud was outcome-changing? We can't say definitively. But have you ever asked  why Democrats could claim that George W. Bush stole two elections and that Trump stole the election from Hillary, but you can't say that Biden stole the election from Trump? Why are the gatekeepers so afraid of that discussion?

A Virginia election official was indicted last year for altering election results in the state reporting system back in 2020. Her alterations may not have changed the outcome, but that hardly sounds like a secure election to me.

Authorities in Michigan had concerns about a potential nationwide voter registration fraud scheme during the 2020 election and sought assistance from the FBI, which eventually took over the investigation, which then magically disappeared. Gee, that's odd.

In Georgia, there were a shockingly high number of absentee ballots that violated chain-of-custody regulations, as well as thousands of ballots that were rejected but later counted anyway

Last year, the Wisconsin Supreme Court declared in a 4-3 ruling that most absentee ballot boxes used in the 2020 election were illegal.

A 2022 study conducted by economist and gun expert John Lott Jr. found there were between 255,000 and 368,000 "excess votes" in battleground states during the 2020 election. Lott examined voter registration rolls, in-person vote counts, absentee voting, and provisional ballots across several counties where fraud was suspected. He compared these findings with those of similar counties, where these measures were expected to be comparable. The results showed statistically improbable disparities, indicating the possibility of fraud.

Now, a brand new survey from Rasmussen and the Heartland Institute has found that 20% of mail-in voters admitted to participating in at least one form of election fraud in 2020

"The results of this survey are nothing short of stunning. For the past three years, Americans have repeatedly been told that the 2020 election was the most secure in history," said Justin Haskins, director of the Socialism Research Center at the Heartland Institute. "But if this poll’s findings are reflective of reality, the exact opposite is true. This conclusion isn’t based on conspiracy theories or suspect evidence, but rather from the responses made directly by the voters themselves."

Pretending these issues don't exist won't solve the real problem here—that our elections are not secure. They're vulnerable to fraud and other issues. Unfortunately, nothing will change if we don't shed light on these problems--but when we shed light on them, we run the risk of being censored. And it's going to get worse the closer we get to the 2024 election.
