One of the reasons I chose to no longer be a filthy New York City Democrat was the embarrassment I felt when I realized conservatives hold themselves to higher standards than we did.
They dressed better, worked harder, and expected more of themselves. We liberals believed our lack of discipline and disdain for "society's rules" made us hilariously irreverent, the opposite of how I was raised.
FACT-O-RAMA! I went to a Catholic school in Detroit. The nuns told us the public school kids were misbegotten animals. I believed them. They were filthy, shabbily dressed, and misbehaved tatterdemalions. In short, the public school kids were white trash (as a studious Catholic, I was "Caucasian debris!"). Also, I was going to heaven; the gutternipes were not. That said, they seemed to have WAY more fun than we did.
That is what I became in New York City: a public school kid. Then the AIDS "pandemic" hit New York City in the 1980s.
A woman who was a regular at the pool hall where I was bartending caught AIDS and died after a brief illness, a death that was so easy to avoid. Two gay guys I worked with died of AIDS shortly thereafter.
The answer seemed pretty clear to me: condoms. Using condoms would, in effect, stop AIDS from killing people, mostly gay men. They could also help level the skyrocketing number of unwanted pregnancies in the poor neighborhoods. They were cheap and could be found in every bodega in the five boroughs. Gay bars gave them away for free. Why did people choose to live so recklessly? Because they had no discipline and held themselves to lower standards. Which brings us to today.
Almost every social atrocity we see today comes from the undisciplined left, Worse, We the People continue to accept it.
A black man killed Iryna Zarutska, another killed Logan Federico, and one set fire to Bethany MaGee on a Chicago subway—and the nation yawned.
Two white women and a service dog were chopped to death by a black man, allegedly on PCP, with a machete last month. A third woman survived. The media's response: crickets.
Jacon Couch, 33 and white, was nearly beheaded last April by a black man with a hatchet.
There has been a rash of "random" black-men-on-white-women beatings in the news lately. This looks a lot like the rash of similarly random attacks from 2024, and 2023.
Then there are the white kids recently beaten by black adults.

Here are 30 black-on-white murders from November and December 2025, most of which you probably haven't heard of.
As I've written about ad nauseam, black men are responsible for no fewer than 70% of mass shootings. They aren't the only left-leaning, trigger-happy demographic bringing us near a daily dose of chaos.
Charlie Kirk was assassinated by a gay dude, whose boyfriend is a "furry" and wants to cut off his twig and berries and become a woman. Another Decepticon shot 30 people, most of them kids, at the Annunciation Church in Minnesota.
Once you cut through the gang violence, revenge, romance-gone-bad noise, Grok and GPT BOTH give an estimate of ~40% of school shooters/would-be shooters since 2020 have been trans/suspected trans.

Thank GOD they were citizens.
So where am I going with this?
We tolerate violence from the left because there is so much of it that it's become quotidian. Let's call it the not-so-new normal.

If we were to flip the victim/attacker roles in the collection of violent crimes listed above, just one of those stories would kick off riots. George Soros would write checks to various NGOs, and Don Lemon would ooze into the situation, hoping to prove to his commie media gods that he is still a team player and will do anything to be relevant once again.
But conservatives, Republicans, and MAGA rarely behave so violently. So when it happens, the Democrats salivate, while the Operation Mockingbird media mudpuppies pounce and drain it for all they can, usually by spewing fear-mongering buzzwords like "white supremacy." Every headline will lead back to whatever crime was allegedly committed by the big bad boogeyman in a MAGA cap.
Yet we sit here watching communists crash a church in Minnesota and scream about "concentration camps."

We watched Donald Trump almost lose his head to an assassin in Butler, Pennsylvania. We peacefully mourned the tragic loss of Charlie Kirk. We sit around like gazelles waiting to see who the jackals will jump on next. Why?
Because we hold oursleves to higher standards. Everyone reading this knows that if the communists get the "revolution" they think they want, MAGA will end it before Tampon Tim Walz can teach his "army" of portly, blue-haired, septum-ringed gorgons how to load a shotgun.
With great power comes great responsibility. That said, someone oughta tell the Democrats to raise their standards and acquire some self-discipline because being nice and watching our side being victimized again and again by the animals on the left is getting old.
