The Harris-Biden Border Crisis: 5 Illegals Arrested After Michigan Home Invasion

News stories about the crimes of illegal aliens seem to be rather slow in reaching the national level. Thankfully, this one did not involve people getting hurt, killed, or violated, but it further demonstrates what Biden's handlers are enabling by refusing to secure the border.

Five more illegal aliens here in the United States were arrested on Thursday for breaking into a Troy, Michigan, house.

Much like the Amazing Chilean Burglar Tourists who have been pulling similarly sophisticated burglaries up in the Mitten State (I wrote about them back in May), they are evidently connected to a much bigger group.

"I was like, ‘Man this is crazy!’ I ain’t never seen nothing like that! I heard about that in a couple places… but it was kind of bizarre that it happened here, so close to us," an anonymous witness told Fox 2 Michigan.

Audacy.com gave some more details about the foiled robbery, noting that it occurred around 1 in the afternoon and that all five individuals are being held on $1 million bond.

One suspect is 25-year-old Owen Jean Cortes, who was apprehended after fleeing on foot. The second guy, 39-year-old Michel Leandro Alba Rincon, might have been the lookout as he was "walking slowly on the sidewalk and recording the foot chase."

The other three were caught in a van with a Virginia license plate, whose driver, a 43-year-old Mexican citizen named Alberto Franco-Jimenez, was driving on a suspended license.

Cortes, Alba Rincon, and 48-year-old Omar Giovvany Rodriguez-Aponte, who was spotted getting into the van, are confirmed to be Colombian nationals. The fifth guy, 27-year-old Geovanny Enreque Castellanos-Forero, is of unknown nationality.

Libs of TikTok, where I first saw this story, reported all five as being Colombian, which was possibly a mistake, but their conclusion is is still valid: "These are the types of people that border czar Kamala Harris is letting into our country."

The fact that these guys are evidently part of a much bigger outfit is concerning.

Back in June, I wrote about how Bernardo Raul Castro-Mata, an illegal alien from Venezuela who is part of the Tren de Aragua gang, said he received the gun that he used to shoot two NYPD officers at the beginning of the month via a food delivery bag, which is how the gang smuggles weapons to members in migrant shelters.

More disturbingly, just a few days ago I wrote about how three Palestinians with potential ties to Hamas, Hezbollah, or one of the other terror organizations from the area were let into the country, even as one of the guys had "salacious" (again, why use that word?) pictures on his phone.

And those were just in the past two months.
