A transgender rights activist on Thursday called for a “violent general strike” if Judge Kavanaugh is confirmed and he “overturns Roe v Wade.” Emily Gorcenski, who has a verified Twitter account with over 32,000 followers, sent the tweet after Thursday’s marathon Senate Judiciary Committee hearing with Judge Brett Kavanaugh and his accuser, Dr. Christine Blasey Ford.
According to Far Left Watch, Gorcenski is an outspoken proponent of antifa and its violent tactics.
Emily G. was basically advocating for all of the workers of America to stay home from work and violently protest if Kavanaugh is confirmed and again if Roe v. Wade is overturned.
The activist on Friday disavowed the tweets, claiming that they do not say what they seem to say.
Because I am not an idiot, I will nevertheless state for the record that this tweet is neither advocating nor calling for violence.https://t.co/5aBYUhsqqs

Gorcenski is a data scientist and transgender advocate from Charlottesville, Virginia. The antifa-supporting activist, according to Far Left Watch, is also linked to the antifa group Smash Racism DC, which recently ran Sen. Ted Cruz and his family out of a restaurant in Texas.
Smash Racism recently threatened the lives of Cruz, Judge Kavanaugh, and President Trump on Twitter and other social media accounts. And Mike Isaacson, one of its founders, called on his followers “to kill your local politicians before they kill you.”
Just so we are clear, Mike Isaacson, the leader of the antifa group that threatened Senator @tedcruz and @realDonaldTrump recently shared a @CNN article and instructed his @Twittter followers to "kill your local politicians".

PJ Media readers should be familiar with Isaacson, the John Jay College economics professor who gained notoriety last fall after he tweeted “off the pigs” and “dead cops are good,” among other hideous things. Isaacson was finally fired in January after his anti-police, pro-antifa tweets surfaced last fall, spurring a firestorm of disapproval in conservative media.
Gorcenski is one of only 3,641 people followed by Twitter CEO Jack Dorsey and one of only 503 people followed by the Southern Poverty Law Center’s “Hate Watch” account, Far Left Watch points out.
